Anyone have any pictures of their Henna tatoos?? They probably don't let you get quite as scandalous with where you have it done as you can get at a tatoo parlor, huh??

I have pictures, but I have to dig them up, and scan them, I can post them tomorrow...

Okay...Here are two pictures I could find. The first one, this one, is a henna tattoo done at Epcot. The paste is still present, and the tattoo is about 7 hours old.

This one, (Not my favorite by any means) was done at Epcot as well. This henna tattoo is three and a half weeks old.

Well alrighty! Very cool!

I like the first one the best (I know the other one is older, but I really like the desing of the first one!)- Very intricate, very professional- and you don't have to keep it for life!

(What a fun vacation thing- henna tatoos! You can be crazy/fun and do something spontaneous, but you don't have to regret a crazy vacation decision!)

If you have any more, post away!

They make you choose from a spiral ring notebook full of designs. Most are tribal, yes, with the occasional unicorn and dragon. You can, however, draw something out for them to put on you. I have seen this done. A kid wanted the "Batman" symbol, so he drew it out. The tattoo artist said she couldn't guarantee that it would look pefrect, since she had never drawn it before (and it didn't), but my guess is that a Mickey head wouldn't be that difficult. But I would pick something from the book.

It takes about 15 minutes for most of the tattoos, excluding the big one's, anything bigger than a dollar bill sized. You have to wait about a half an hour, then you have to go back and have lemon water applied to set it in (Most people wait there, though). So, it really takes a good 45 minutes. There is usually a good line, also. Usually about 3 or so people, so you are looking at a 45 minute wait (In the summer months). It, in my opinion, is totally worth the wait!
