First of all stop yelling.

Secondly, try Touring Plans or a travel agent. Have fun!

Take a deep breath and remember that you can have a great time even if you have no plans at all.

I don't know how old your kids are but I think it is usually a better idea to take advantage of the morning EMH than the evening ones. They are less crowded and you can fit a lot into a short amount of time. That said, if your kids are teens or are hard to get up in the morning, evening hours can be great too.

You are going at a very busy time of year so it will be crowded. Because of this, at this late date, you will have a limited amount of choices for FP+ and dining reservations. Take a look at the website/app and see what's still available that interests you. There are still plenty of rides, shows, parades and spectacles that do not require FP+ and lots of good counter service restaurants that don't take reservations. You will have better luck finding an open reservation if you are flexible about eating early or late.

If you need more help, it would be helpful if you ask more specific questions and tell a little more about your self and your kids. That will make it is easier for others to get you the info you need.

Good luck and have a great trip!

All good sound advice but planning, especially with kids, can make a huge difference in the way your vacation goes.

Well, if the OP has a room at the CR in the first week of July that's a huge start. She has a place to stay that's walking distance to the MK and on the monorail to get to Epcot.

I agree, if the kids are of an age to handle mornings, rope drop is your best bet without Fast Passes. At the MK you can usually get Splash, Thunder, Haunted Mansion and maybe It' a Small World before the park starts to get crowded.

ADRs could be a problem at this point. If she's stuck with QS, try eating lunch at 11:00 and dinner between 4 and 5 or after 7 to avoid the crowds. There is always a TS restaurant somewhere that has an opening. It just may not be one of their top 3 choices.

Thanks. I made some fast pass picks when I got the email I could make them... I'm just worried I planned wrong... maybe I'm just a little nervous. I was able to get fast passes for everything that I read I should get fast passes for.... like splash and jungle cruise and peter pan... soaring... I used two different days to fast pass at animal kingdom bc I could only pick one avatar ride and there was two so I used my extra day on animal kingdom.... not sure if that was a good or bad idea...

I appreciate the responses.... I'm new at this... And ill take any suggestions... I booked my Disney package over 9 months ago so I did get my little girl in at the castle bibbidi boutique and my son at the same time in the pirate league.... Glad I did all of that in the beginning....

I would not be nervous. It sounds like you know what you are doing. Just remember that you won't be able to see everything and you'll be fine.

If you don't want to go to AK two days, go right at rope drop to the ride in Pandora for which you do not have a FP. The line won't be too terrible yet. Then you can use your extra day for whatever park you feel like going to.

You've already gotten some sound advice. I'd recommend that you look at Touringplans.com. and/ or easywdw.com's calendar and cheat sheets. You can find out which parks are recommended for each day, then make your ADRs and FPs based on that. You can also use their touringplans; either one of the stock plans ,or customized to your own preferences.

Because you are so late in booking, ADRs may be tough. Don't panic when you can't get your preferred place and time. Just pull up what's available (use the filters), and pick from what's there.

You're also well inside the 60 day mark for FPs, so your desired times are likely gone already. Some superheadliners may have no availability. Consider doing these standby either right at RD or just before park closing.

ETA, I just saw that you already have FPs, so you're committed to the parks on those days. But if you have PH tickets, you can use those to hop to the evening EMH park. Hard to do this too often though, if you're also doing RD the next day.

Great advice! And be aware, if a park closes at 10P, you can get in an attraction line at 9:59P.

If there's any dining that you want, but didn't reserve.. just check on the website or app close to your dates.. especially 24-48 before. A lot of stuff opens up because people cancel Dining the closer they get to they vacation, and once they're there they cancel as well.

Make sure your children meet the height restriction of the rides you're planning; it would be a waste of time (and a FP) to arrive and find out that one of your children is not tall enough to do the ride. My best advice: sounds like you've already made some plans, so for the rest just have fun - you can't do it all so just enjoy what you can do! Before we go, we always decide what one or two rides or shows each person REALLY wants to do. We make a point of making sure we get to those and so everyone is happy because the rest is just "gravy". Also, if your kids are younger, don't underestimate their need for down time - particularly in the July heat. Enjoy!

We all help people plan from time to time. What I have found is that you know your family better than I do. Only you will know what works best. With 6 day hoppers you will have the flexibility to change your plans midday if you wish.
If you find disney transportation to be unsatisfactory for you park hopping plans then you can look into
Express Transportation Option. It is an upcharge but will defiantly save you time. You can find reviews of people that have used it on this site.

General advice though:
1) Make a couple of dinning reservations to take a break inside and relax a little. But don't reserve tables for 3 meals a day; you will just be bouncing from restaurant to restaurant. One-a-day is great, two-a-day, on some days, is good too.
2) Only push your family so much. Most people on this forum would suggest leaving the parks after lunch to go back to the hotel for a swim or nap. I like to nap. Recharge, rest your feet and then get back to it early evening.
3) If it is your first trip, don't plan meals or fastpasses back to back. You will feel rushed. Allow yourself time to stroll around a bit or discover something that you never expected. You can use a fastpass schedule of 10/12/2 or 10/12/5 (those are times).
4) If you find that you do not know how to get somewhere on property, my first advice would be just to ask a cast member. You will find that all of them are incredibly friendly and helpful; they are amazing and genuinely nice to talk to. But know that if you need to get someplace, like another park, you can goto any hotel and hop on the buses there. If you need to get to a particular hotel, for a meal for example, you can get onto that hotels bus. All parks (as well as Disney Springs) have buses to all of the hotels and all hotels have buses to all of the parks.
5) R-E-L-A-X you cannot do it all (we say this a lot here). You can't. Do not try. You family will have more fun if you are not rushing them around the park. Go slow. Watch the street performers, have an ice cream bar, hug a disney character. Your vacation is for you as well, so just let it happen.
6) Finally, be civil to other guests in the parks. Everyone there is on vacation and they have all spent a fortune trying to make it a magical time for their family. People get stressed because they plan too much or spend too much time in the sun or they simply think that they deserve something more. Don't be those people. It will be hot. It will be crowed and there will be waits for attractions. But don't stress about it.

Touringplans.com! With a subscription, you can make your own customized daily touring plans which will take into account the projected crowd levels. Put in your date, your ADRs, your Fastpasses, and select what attractions you want to do, and the program can optimize a touring plan for you with a map, estimated wait times, etc (or you can put things in the order you want and simply ask for it to be "evaluated" with projected wait times, etc.). Tinker with it however you like, and have fun. The site also offers all of the information from the Unofficial Guide to Disney, including menu item finder tools, an ADR-finder tool, etc. All well worth the $11 cost of a one-year subscription! (No, I do not work for touringplans, but I've subscribed for 6 years and used it to plan 3 Disney trips, and I love it.)

Sounds like you have a good start. Staying at the Contemporary will give you a number of options for transportation and restaurants. Many of the nearby resorts have some great meal options, and some that usually have openings. Wilderness Lodge has the fun Whispering Canyon sit-down restaurant and Geyser Point Bar & Grill right on Bay Lake. Ft. Wilderness has a good and relatively inexpensive buffet called Trails End with lots of kid friendly selections. Polynesian has 2 table service restaurants - Kona Cafe and Ohana (though this is a hard to get ADR). Grand Floridian has some kid friendly choices too. And your resort, The Contemporary, in addition to California Grill and Chef Mickey's, there is the Wave which has great food and usually can get seating with short notice. Plus the counter service option, Contempo Cafe, has some nice selections. All these resorts are either a short boat or monorail ride from where you will be staying. Enjoy the experience!
