I recently read in one of the tour books that it is a good idea to go on the reservation site at wdw between 9-11 p.m. to get some of the hard to get reservations. I have done this and have been able to get Be Our Guest and Akershus.

Unless there is a trend where everybody cancels their reservations between 9-11pm then I reckon that you just struck lucky

I really do not think all available dates are poured out on the earliest days. I think Disney intermittently make reservations available. I think they do the same with FP+.

I'm sure people tend to make most of their changes at the end of the day too. So it does make sense on some level.

It's funny...but 7:30am-11:30am on weekends has always been my best time for this. Either way, glad OP got an ADR you needed
