Need advice.

We added 2 days on the front end of our trip. Called wdw reservations prior to leaving to add 2 days of park tickets on front end. They expressly informed us we should wait till we arrived and add the tickets then at the discounted multi day price.

Now they tell us the discounted price cannot be done and we must pay full price.

We are at level 2 with guest services. Need help

Why are they telling you that you can't add days?

The only thing that I can imagine is that the tickets are part of your original package and that when they added the additional hotel days, they just built a new reservation for those two days rather than adjusting your original package.

For the additional 2 days, they want 1st day price plus the additional day.

If we added at the end of 6 days was no problem, but could not do 2 days on front end.

This is interesting, as it doesn't matter when you add the days to the park ticket, the ticket simply 'work's for however many days you bought it for, added to or not.

It does not run by your resort reservation time frame, you are free to use a 6 day ticket, any 6 days you wish (with the exception of the expiration date, which time starts ticking only after first use). Meaning your first use day can be any day you want.

While your info is true of separately-purchased tickets, it's not true of tickets as part of a package reservation.

While you can add two days onto tickets on a package very easily, there is no way to get tickets involved with a package before the start-date of the package. Those extra days would only be available to use for days at the end of the trip. So that may have been the large sticking point.

If they already have tickets in-hand and are trying to add to them, that might also be the issue. Typically they can't do that over the phone, it has to be done in-person.

I'm not sure that the first day can be before the date of your package.
