Thank you so much Jim. It's just so much sometimes, it's overwhelming. I'm looking forward to Disney next summer more than any of the upcoming holidays. It's this wonderful little world that you step into and momentarily forget all of life's worries :)

I've been/are dealing with a horrible bout of depression myself, I understand. If you need someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to PM me. I check the boards regularly, but don't post as often as I used to.

Sometimes pictures are stronger than words.

Happy places.

Smiling faces.

...yummy treats....

And a good night's sleep.

I'm happy to share my favorite moments with you!

My mom dancing with Goofy, they waltzed for a good minute or two before Goofy decided to pose for the picture.

A rare picture of my mom laughing (she dislikes her smiling face so she tries to look serious when taking pictures):

Isn't it weird how the characters have the power to make your experience so much better?
Absolutely! The characters seemed to gravitat towards her to act silly and she was in awe most of the time! I was so, so happy she was able to experience this after waiting for so long!

I had to delay a trip to WDW with DH and DS because my OB wouldn't allow me to fly in my last trimester.
In late January/Febuary before my leave was up we went on our trip including the new 2 month old DD.

This little baby had her days and nights mixed up while my 4 year old son didn't. I was always tired because one of the two were always awake. Over the months I had a few crying spells likely cause I wasn't thinking straight without sleep.

Early on in the trip the DD fell asleep on the bus heading back to Port Orleans and we put her in her crib (they had those then) and made a bee line to get some sleep ourselves before she woke up. Well it was now morning and the DD never woke up. We were rested but scared to go look in the crib. Neither my DH or I wanted to go poke her to see if she was still breathing. So my DS who didn't know what we were fearing said I will and went over and promptly poked his little sister. She lifted her little head and smiled. She slept through the night at night! And that was it, the trip righted her schedule, she didn't ever mix up her nights and days again and continued to sleep through the night.

I spent $3000 to become well rested at WDW. Money well spent. Best trip ever!
