We are staying at the Pop Century and Wilderness Lodge. My niece drink quite a bit of prune juice. Does anyone know if it is available for purchase in the food court or the resort stores?

I know if anyone can help, you all can!!!

Well, I'm not too sure about finding prune juice on property, but you could always pick some up at a local Walmart, Gooding's or Publix. If not, you might be able to take some with you when you leave home!

Good luck finding some and have fun!

Come on people. Who doesn't like the taste of a tall glass of slightly above room temperature prune juice. . .

served with a gyro and a side of baked beans?

As funny as some of the jokes may seem (not really), someone was just asking a question. Even though it may be a little out of the ordinary doesn't mean you need to mock them about it.

Sorry for the rant, but I just thought it was something that needed to be said.

I'm not trying to attack anyone or punish them. As a moderator, I just need to make sure things flow smoothly. Sometimes people take things different ways and I don't want anyone to get offended. What one person finds funny, another person doesn't...I just don't want anyone to get upset.

Your best bet would be to contact the kitchen at the hotel you are staying at and see if they have it. If not, they can be very accomodating and see about getting ahold of it for you. My daughter is unable to drink dairy milk since she has a severe allergy so I contacted them about where I could get soy milk down there and they offered to have it on hand for us specifically. I can't say that they would definitely do the same in the case of prune juice just because she drinks alot of it, but it's worth a shot. And like others said, you can always bring some with you or go to one of the nearby stores to get some. Crossroads, down the street from DTD has a Gooding's Market that you can pick it up at. I'm sure there are a few other nearby locations you can go to as well.

Good point. Our son had a slight lactose intolerance and we needed to provide him with soy milk during our first visit. We just brought some into the parks using a cup with a freezable insert so it wouldn't spoil. I'm sure doing the same would work for the prune juice. Good luck!

Worse case: Get some plums and walk around with them on your heads. With that Florida sun, instant prune and juice in minutes! :animwink:

Thanks for including me in the "We've".

I would try and get your child to open up more to the juices that will be readily available. This way, you will not have to jump through hoops to satisfy the need.

Kind of like soft drinks. You know that WDW is a Coke place. If you are a Pepsi drinker (first off - I'm sorry for your problem) you may want to get some fountain Coke products to acclimate your system to the good stuff so when you are at WDW, you will be HAPPY.
