Help with ticket decision

I will be staying at the POP Century resort for 4 days. I am trying to decide wich is my best option. I plan on goin to Pleasure Island at least 3 of the 4 nights, plus would like to do one of the water parks. Was thinking of buying a 7 day MYW with the plus and park hopper options. There is a slim chance that I will be making a return trip in Oct, so I could add the no expiration option for a total of $344. I also have the option of buying a 4 day park hopper ticket w/4 visits to PI for $214, then just buy a 1 day water park ticket for $34. So I guess my question is, Is it worth the $100 more for the 7 day MYW pass to have 3 extra days on hold in case I go back?

Hope this wasn't too confusing..

I think you should buy as many days as you can, if you are considering the no expiry option. They keep forever. And you will definitely want to go back. The more you buy the better deal it is. I wish we could have bought more!

The prices I see on the WDW website don't match what's in your post. By my calcs it looks like the 7-day option is only $24 more, and you could get TEN days for less than $100 more! Here's what I see:

4d MYW Hopper Plus $265
(incl 4 extras)
1 visit to water park $34 (I didn't look up this price - going with yours)
Total $299 (74.75/day)

7d MWY Hopper Plus w/no expiry $323 (46.14/day)
(incl 5 extras)

10d MWY Hopper Plus w/no expiry $377 (37.70/day)

You can see how the more you buy the cheaper they get per day. However, you should note that in any case you won't have any of the PI or water park extras on future visits without paying for them extra.

That's the Disney website. It's really great and lets you try all sorts of combinations.

Let us know what you decide.

Not confusing at all.

It seems confusing to me at times. You can call Disney and tell them what you want to do and they'll tell you what the best options is...

Here is what I would advice.

Based on what you stated, you need 4 theme park days with park hopping, 3 admissions to Pleasure Island, and 1 admission to a Water Park. You may return in October.

Here are the options I see for you...

4 day MYW +Park Hopping +Magic Plus Pack (3 visits) AND 1 Day Pleasure Island admission = $265.00 + $20.95 = $285.95 plus tax
(Fullfills all needs with nothing left over)
(less expensive to purchase the extra PI admission separately then the water park admission)

7 day MYW +Park Hopping +Magic Plus Pack (5 visits) +Advance Purchase discount + allow to expire in 14 days = $268.00 plus tax
(fullfills all needs, wastes 3 theme park days, 1 plus visit)
(Purchase in advance by calling 407-W-DISNEY at least 2 days before you arrive, pay in full by credit card, pick up at Resort front desk.)

7 day MYW +Park Hopping +Magic Plus Pack (5 visits) + Advance Purchase discount + No Expiration Option = $323.00 plus tax
(fullfills all needs, prepurchases 3 theme park days, 1 plus visit for future visit)
(Purchase in advance by calling 407-W-DISNEY at least 2 days before you arrive, pay in full by credit card, pick up at Resort front desk.)

My advice, the 7 day is the best way to go. The no expiration option is only $55 on the 7 day MYW ticket, very much worth it for the 4 extra visits and it NEVER expires, so if you don't make it in October, you will be back sometime in the future. (Disney World is very addictive, as this board can show you! :p )

Hope this helps! :sohappy:
