Hi!

I have to do some research, and was wondering if possible, some of you could tell me:

"What colour and design attractes you to a site, and makes you stay?"

Also, what is your favourite type of logo? (detailed, simple, easy to remember/recognise etc)

thanks so much :D  :D

any input would be massively appreciated!!

:D :)

Dark purple, light blue mixed with buttery-cookish orange.

Moderate, but not too simple or complex, of a logo - easy to recognize.

:D

thanks Grizz! thats just the style of answer I was hoping for :)

anybody else? :)

With colors, contrast is a big thing for me. Dark blue on a black background is a big no-no in my book. If it is hard to read or navigate because text is difficult to see I won't spend much (if any) time on a website...

As for logos, I would say that I much prefer simple ones. If you look at the vast majority of the largest companies in the world, their logos are very simple in design. Identity is the single most important reason for anyone to have a logo and if it isn't recognizable or memorable, a logo fails to serve the purpose it was designed for. A logo that is unique and simple in design will be easily identifiable since there is less for the mind to have to process while trying to place it to something.

Blue and Silver design.. high tech looking, made with flash or java.

Logo... something very stylish. I would post a link to a nice one but it would probably set people off again :zipit:

Hey Al, call me crazy but between this post and the one in digital techniques about putting holiday art on fruit, I’m beginning to think that maybe you are working on setting up your own website. Could this possibly be true? :)
