Help with purchasing tickets

If I buy them online, do I just go to the front gate with the receipt or do I need to go to a different place. I used to get them thru my travel agent but it's more money. Buying online saves about $60. I know at Disneyland you attend the ticket booth first before the gate. Is it the same with Universal. Also is an express needed for mid September?

There are self serve kiosks to side of the entrance, bring the CC you used to make the purchase, insert it in the kiosk and it will spit your card and your entry media back out. Have a great time!

As for Express, you probably won't need it, especially if your visit is during the week. But if you're unsure you can always wait and buy it in the park if you find the lines are longer than you were expecting. It'll be the same price as if you'd bought it ahead of time.
