5/30 is my 180.

Here's what I'm planning so far-

Activities-
Pirate Adventure Cruise
Parasailing

Dining -
BOG lunch
Ohana Breakfast
Garden View Tea Room
Boma or Sanaa?

Undecided on Holiday Wishes Dessert Party.. or maybe a regular MK Dessert party..not even sure if either one is bookable right now.

Will definitely do a dessert party at HS and EMM at MK.. anyone remember when those were released last year?

Any other recommendations?

Where's drinking by the resort pool...

Also... you've been plenty of times... what haven't you done yet that you want to do... think of those, add them in.

Won't be there during my football game this year, so don't need a cabana. I can drink by the pool without a reservation. :)

My kid has only been twice.. we've done most of the character meals, but I'm trying to use restraint on dining this year.

Akershus for breakfast maybe

Thanks! I should have mentioned the kid is a boy.lol
I booked but then cancelled a 1900 Park Fare breakfast last year.. we've never been and I'm kinda debating if we should do it this year.

Here's a scenario-

If you would only choose one, which would you choose?

Minnie's Holiday Dine
Chef Mickey
Wishes Dessert Party
1900 PF Breakfast/Brunch

Would that be the "Happily Ever After" Dessert party now?

I'd go with 1900 PF. Chef Mickey's is a one-time experience in my humble opinion. Character meet is one of the best but the food is very pedestrian.

Would depend on the age of the child, but agree with Chef Mickey's being bleh for food. 1900 PF and Minnie's Holiday Dine are both good options. See which one fits better with your plans. If both do, would you rather meet the core 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy) in holiday attire with a Memory Maker photo with Santa Goofy or meet Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter and a Memory Maker photo with Alice?

Between Boma and Sanaa, we enjoyed the variety at Boma more. And it's really good food for the whole "Disney buffet quality" thing.

Thanks for your input! I may also do a breakfast at one of them as well, if schedule allows. This is my LEAST favorite part of planning.
I really want to keep our schedule open, but it's difficult.

Have you been to RoL yet? Is a dining package necessary? I'm planning on eating at Harambe Market and the new restaurant in Pandora while at AK.. thought it would be better to not have a table service meal.

Yup, such is the life of making ADRs.

I have not seen RoL yet (soon!) but I did make a dining package reservation just for peace of mind in case crowds are unfavorable due to the opening of Pandora and also if I can't get a FP. We couldn't even get into the first showing of that terrible Jungle Book show last time so that's my frame of reference. :p

Making ADRs is my favorite part of planning but I won't be able to do much of it until the kids grow some. They are at the age where they are done eating before I have hardly begun my meal.

Not sure of your boy's age but the Table Service meals can be torture for some kids when Space Mountain is calling their name.

1900 PF is a must for us on every trip- enjoy the food and the step sisters are a riot

I have not heard about this one. Looking at the Disney site I don't see any Christmas dates yet. Our 180 date was last Wednesday and I would love to make reservations but no idea what date to make them for.....
I could not get a reservation for it last year. One finally opened up the same day, but it conflicted with the dessert party so we couldn't do it.

It's at Hollywood and Vine. I think it was delayed in being released last year as well. Keep checking!

I talked to a CM about holiday dining event (like Minnie's thing and the MBBBQ on Christmas) reservations and he said that they're almost always released a couple weeks after the main reservations. You'll just have to keep checking
It looks like later this year they are starting to do a lunch as well. I just went ahead and made a lunch reservation for 11/22. On the confirmation it shows as "Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine Lunch". Keeping my fingers crossed!!

It looks like they start doing lunch on 09/04/17 which is also the start of Minnie's Halloween Dine.

Hopefully you were able go grab a reservation.

Both! And Jiko too.

(Assuming this is your AKL trip.)
Yep. I haven't even heard of Jiko. I haven't concentrated at that portion today, I figured AKL restaurants would be the easiest to get. Here's my plan at AKL- eat in the lounge (Sanaa I think) on a day when we have a large lunch. Breakfast at Boma.. and lunch or dinner at Sanaa. Maybe Jiko instead? I'll look up the menu.
What's your recommendations on which restaurants for which meals?

Yes!! I did!!! Thank you SOOO MUCH!!!!!! I'm thrilled that lunch has been added!!! Now we can do H&V and the dessert party!!
