Question for everyone... Im using the Ulead Gif Animator to and trying to make a GIF for my avator however I keep getting messages saying that the file is too large. I have it down to 160x110 pxls however it says that it has to be under 20000 bytes. My question is under the resize object portion of the program it only allows me to do it by pxls and percent.. can anyone help me? If it has to be 20000 bytes then how many pixels is that? Any help would be great!!! Thanks! :)

20,000 bytes has nothing to do with pixels, it mainly has to do with the actual SIZE of the file on a disk.

I'm not familar with your program (I use photoshop), but you need to play with it until it's down to size.

How big is it now?

Reducing frames and dimensions may help reduce physical size.
You may also want to decrease the DPI and then reduce the dimensions.

Hope this helps...

To reduce GIF size without reducing dimensions, decrease the number of colors being used. A full-color GIF uses 256 colors. If you can decrease the number of colors used, you will decrease the file size of the GIF, without decreasing dimensions.
