Help with Disney Ticket

I purchased a one day/one park disney ticket for my friend. How do I get his ticket set up to reserve FP+? Does he have to do it? Do I need to create a disney profile for him? I know I need to link his account with mine to reserve FP+ for the same attraction times.. but how? Help...

You can make a "My Family and Friends" profile for him, and then link the ticket number to your own account and link it with his profile. Then you can handle all the arrangements for the two of you yourself.

If you find out later than he has his own MDE account and he wants to be able to view your plans, you can send him an invitation through MDE which will link the plans you've made to his account, and he'll see them listed when he looks at his own MDE.
