Help with availability/renting Animal Kingdom Villas Studio Value

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm looking to stay in an Animal Kingdom studio value villa from 4th November - 11th November.

I got the following message from David's

The details you submitted were for:

First Choice: Animal Kingdom Villas, Studio-Value

for the dates of Tuesday, November 04, 2014 to Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

We have checked with Disney Vacation Club Member Services for all resorts and room types and your original choices were not available. However, the following selections are still available:

Animal Kingdom Villas, Studio-Savannah View

Does this mean that the value is booked up or that they don't have members with the right points? Is there anyway of finding out if this is available?

And now I'm even more confused, so David's have said:

Unfortunately the value room is sold out for your entire stay

And DVC rental store have said:

There is availability for your requested dates at this point, but because our Members do not receive their final payment until their Guest checks in, most of them prefer to make shorter term reservations. If you have any additional questions, feel free to let me know!

David's is correct.

The only thing available for all of your days is a Kidani Village Savanna View.

Even AKV owners have a difficult time booking a Value Studio at 11 months.

Is the Standard view studio available at all during our stay, we're considering a split stay? really have our hearts set on AKL

The weekend of Nov. 7-9th is the last weekend for the Food & Wine Festival AND the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon. Many DVC studios are booked. I, too was looking to go Nov. 4-9th and tried to book a standard-view studio at AKV (which is our home resort), and the standard-view was unavailable for the nights of 11/7 & 11/8. However, a savannah-view is available for that entire period.

Soooo, to answer your question:
As of March 19th, a standard-view & savannah-view studio at AK Jambo House, are unavailable for the nights of 11/7 & 8. A standard-view studio at AK Kidani is also unavailable for the same nights. However, a savannah-view studio is available for your whole stay at Kidani. There is NO availability for a value-studio at AK Jambo House.

You could conceivably split your stay at the same resort, just different view categories.

In our experience, the AKV are the easiest to find availability AND to rent points for (we've helped friends rent points so they can stay with us at AKV). I think that it's your dates are just "full" -- don't balk at the Savannah view and I don't see a BIG difference in points. Trust Dave's site and staff though, they are the best in my eyes.
