Help! What's the 'fine print' of new promotion?

Alright. I've been trying to plan the perfect -- albeit affordable -- disney vacation but my mind's going through mickey overload.

We are driving to Orlando from Michigan on April 22 (staying offsite the first night because it's still Disney's "peak" season). I'm planning reservations for a value resort -- likely pop century -- for April 23-27. There are four in traveling group -- two adults and two children, both under age of 3. Unfortunately, we can't stay any longer or aren't flexible with dates because of prior commitments. We've been regulars at Disney -- this will be our fifth trip in less than six years... and still have leftover park-hopping passes from previous visit.

So my question is, is this a big enough incentive for me to purchase the magic your way tickets -- along with my hotel reservations and get the no expiration plan added on. And do the tickets have to be the same length of your stay -- it wouldn't be worthwhile unless I can upgrade to the 6-7 day tickets with the no expiration and keep for future visits -- and with the cost of tickets increasing every year -- might be worthwhile.

The dining plan is intriguiging as well, however it seems like a lot for length of stay... a day or two would be nice, do they have individual day dining offers?

ANy advance or tips would be worthwhile.

There isn't an incentive to buy park passes and rooms together, so if you want a package you would simply add the room cost to the park pass cost plus tax and you have the package rate. This assumes there are no special, time-limited package deals, of course! Park passes don't have to correspond to the nights at the resort, but the dining plan does. So, six nights in the reosrt means six days of the dining plan for each person in the room. If you are thinking of upgrading the park passes to no expiration then it would make sense to also upgrade the days to the maximum of 10 days, now that is cost effective!

Good luck!

actually tink, there is... but, the promotion doesn't include the expiration offer... Right now, if you purchase a MYW base package they'll upgrade you to the hopper and plus pack for free... no expiration though.

because of the deal, you could always save your current hoppers, get a MYW package (the dining plan will save you a bundle) and just use this promotion, sans your current hoppers...

OR

you could just book a room only - use the tickets you've got, eat cheap for a few days and save that way... :)

Good Luck with your plans - personally I'd price it both ways (for 2 ad. and 2 ch. I'd count out about $50-75 a day if you're eating cheaply) Add it all up and see what makes the most sense for y'all...

Hi there!!! This new plan's advantage is that they are offering you the option to park hop and admission to the Water Parks & More for free. If those items appeal to you for this trip, I say go for it. Please keep in mind that the price to add on for a no expiration feature is NOT cheap by any means. As far as the Dining plan, It is based on the number of nights of your stay and must match exactly. There are no day dining offers that can be purchased. The MYW Dining plan is a great deal and allows for one snack, one counter service and one sit down eal per person per night of your stay. For an almost cash free vacation, it cant be beat. Any other questions, just post them and I will try to answer!!! Belle

Keep in mind that if you want to use your current hoppers AND take advantage of the new pkg, you only need to purchase a 1 day ticket with the dining in order to get the dining for the whole trip. You do not have to purchase length of stay tickets. You can choose as many days as you like, the hopping and waterparks are already included at no extra charge. The only thing you would pay extra for is the no expiration being added on.
