Help Wanted

I would be head of WDI and I would instantly put into practice "Walt's Supreme Court." Projects would have to be approved by the court, who interpreted the "original intent" of what Walt would've wanted. If Walt wouldn't have liked it, the project would be scrapped.

$200,000 a year is just OK for you? Dang, I never want to hear you complain about prices. LOL people live and go to WDW on 1/4 that salary.

I am not going to say what I currently make, but $200,000 would be a hefty raise.

The problem (if you want to call it a problem) is I LIKE my current job - it pays well, it is interesting, it has good benefits, I work with some great people, it gives me excellent work/life flexibility when I need it. Don't get me wrong, I also put in some 12 hour days / 60+ hours weeks at times - all part of a salaried position. Sometime being on the east coast and working with both the west coast and India means calls at some odd hours.

Anyway - any job at WDW is going to have to not only match what I have now, but surpass it. Would I like to do something as low stress as water the plants at the Land in EPCOT - sure I would, but I know it is not going to be any sort of job that compares to what I have now.

I also happen to live in one of the most expensive areas to live in the US. A modest, 4 BR 2 BA 2,000 SF house around here goes for $450,000 - $500,000. Forget income taxes, property taxes are $10,000 and up (some of the people in big houses in this town pay over $20,000 in property taxes a year - and that does not include water or sewer fees either). So the salary that I make does not go quite that far.
