Help W/ Tickets!!!!!!!!

Otay, fellow Disney lovers, I gotta a pretty simple question....Is there such a thing as a 1-day park hopper? :veryconfu I do NOT want the ultimate park hopper ticket, I want a ticket for 1 day so that I can go to MGM and MK. I've tried googling it, and all i've found were the ultimate park hopper or 5-7 days of park hopper. :brick:

PLEASE HELP!

Disney will be introducing a public One Day Park Hopper Pass on January 2nd. At this point, the only way to purchase a One Day Park Hopper Pass is to be attending a convention.

Hi and welcome

Yes as of Jan. you will be able to buy a one day ticket and a park hopper add on for it. Just search the site for "Magic your way" and that will give you all the details.

Thanks, but I won't be there in Jan. I'll might be there Dec 29/30.....WHY COULDN"T THEY INTRODUCE IT IN LATE DEC?!?!:( O, well, thanks again for all your input and quick replies, I guess I'll be forced to buy 1-day ticket to MGM and forget MK....(parents will not splurge for a more than that)

Although there will be a one day hopper starting Jan 2, it is possibly the biggest waste of money ever. The ticket will cost about 100 dollar for the single day. Definately not worth it.

But, the 1 day park hopping MYW ticket will still be less than purchasing 2-1day passes which was the old alternative (and with the new tickets you could theoretically hit more than two parks).

I was waiting for someone to mention that.

If you ever plan on visiting WDW again in your life and have a few extra bucks in the bank I suggest getting a 4 day park hopper and using one day of it. They are an investment and never expire. They will still be selling them until Jan 2, 2004. The new ticket system you have to pay extra to have the tickets never expire, and I don't see many people doing that (at least not us.)

We have bought park hoppers, used some of the days on one trip and saved them for another trip.

You can get them at The Disney Store or I have heard good things about Maple Leave tickets (From Cananda.) They have good prices. Here is the web site. http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/orderform.htm

If you are staying on property, you can also purchase a length of stay pass which allows hopping and admission to everything for the time of your stay so if you are staying overnight it would be good from check in till midnight of your checkout day. Belle

The only other option is a cast comp ticket. Most of them are 1-day hopper tickets. If I had any, I would gladly give you one, but I haven't received my winter ticket mailing yet and probably won't for a few weeks. :(

Are you staying at Shades of Green? A friend of mine works for the goverment and she says that you can get your tickets there for much cheaper. (or is that the 2 days stars and stripes ticket.) I don't think so, she went for a week and bought the tickets at Shades of Green.

Anyway have a great trip.

Pack warm. My father in law said it was only in the 50's today there.

I dunno where we are staying.....Right now its a matter of tracking down friends of ours in FL to see when we can visit them...I DO know that we will be there for at least 1 day between Dec 28-30...We have stayed at the Shades of Green once, and this past summer were able to stay @ the Contempory while SoG was under reconstrucion for SoG price. :D At best, we will have a room at SoG, Pop Century, or one of the All-Star hotels....at worst, we will be sleeping an hour or so away or in our car.

Thanks, DisneyPhD, I shall have a great trip!
