Help! Trying to create an account on MDX app, but keeps saying can't at this time!

I've downloaded the app on my iphone and tried to create an account but keep getting this message 'We are sorry, we are unable to create your MDX account at this time. Please try again later or call (407)939-4357 for assistance' Its only 2 weeks till we travel and i really want to book some fast passes but been trying this for 3 days nw and still the same message. I've also tried on both my laptops. Any ideas?

I've tried to call but the wait time was 5 mins plus and I'm in Scotland so a bit wary of the cost to be honest

Can't say I've encountered this error before. Try setting up your profile on the website first (www.mydisneyexperience.com) and then just log into the app using the same account info.

Saying exactly the same on the website, i'll have to just phone i suppose :-(

It might be an idea to wait for a bit, sometimes the site can get a bit jammed up, i have an account but can get that message on the odd occasion, i have left it and tried later and its fine.
