How Bowers of RetroWDW mentioned visiting MK in spring or summer 1971 as part of a tour. Relatives of construction workers I believe. I'll have to go back and find the episode.
I hope someone out there knows the answer or can tell me where I might find the answer. I know they alway say that the Magic Kingdom in WDW opened on October 1, 1971. He is very persistant saying that he visited the Magic Kingdom in June 1971. Is it possible, could they have had a silent opening or something? Please help me.
Did he say in what capacity he visited it? I know some members of the press were allowed to visit it months before it opened such as Alan Wicker in July 1971 but it wasn't open to the general public. I posted this video a few years ago and it's well worth a watch.
