Help! Question about transportation!

Hi to all fellow WDW fans! I am staying at the Poly for the first time ever in two weeks. On our last day there we have breakfast at Whispering Canyon @ the Wilderness Lodge. Can someone tell me the easiest way to get from the Poly to the WL for an 8 am breakfast ressie? Thanks to All! :wave:

Take the monorail to the Contemporary and then take the launch over to the WL (they should be up and running by then). You could then take the larger boat over to the MK or a bus to another park. You could also monorail to the MK and take the boat to the WL.

Another way would be to go to the Magic Kingdom and take the bus over to the lodge. The boats are nice, but they can be very slow.

I would take the boat. It is alot more fun than the bus, and the view of WL from the lake is spectacular!

I would avoid the bus because it usually stops at Fort Wilderness first and that adds quite a bit to the travel time. The ride from the Contemporary is not even 10 minutes long and we have never had to wait for a boat there (but that could just be good timing on our part).

Since she needs to be there first thing in the morning (near park opening) a bus from the MK to the WL may be hard to get...lunch time would be easier as people would be leaving the park by then.

I dont know for sure if this is true, but I was told that since your res. is very early in the morning, you may be able to get a bus that goes straight to the resort destination, from your resort. I have a res. for Chef Mickey's at 7:50am. when i posted a question about how to get to the restaurant in time, i was told to just ask the front desk at the resort to set up a bus. Hope that's true!!
