Help on a future trip.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping some of you could give me some advice.

My sister and I are planning a trip over from the UK at the beginning of Nov 2011 and normally we go to WDW but this time we thought we would like to go to a couple of other places but end the trip with a few days at DLR.

Now I know that it is way too early to book those dates yet but was wondering if anyone knew when booking would open for those dates. We do like to plan in advance and we would quite like to stay at one of the Disney hotels and are worried that they might get booked up pretty quickly, so we want to get in as soon as we can

I wouldn't worry about them getting booked too early. Nov is not a particularly busy time except for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. (24-27th)

You will be fine to book your hotel 4-6 months ahead of time.

Keep a first and second choice in mind for hotels. The Disneyland Hotel is going through some refurbishment now, not sure when it will all be done.

What you need to be aware of however is the Veterans Day crowds. Disneyland usually debuts all the Christmas stuff on Veterans Day weekend, and the locals turn out in big numbers to see it all. Plus, the Monday of Veterans Day weekend is a federal and state holiday for many people, so Sunday and Monday is huge.

This year, for instance, Disneyland debuts all the Christmas decorations and the fireworks and the Christmas Parade on November 12th, the start of Veterans Day weekend.

Veterans Day is always a busy weekend, but you might enjoy it as it's when our nation celebrates all the people who sacrificed to defeat the Germans in two separate wars in a single century alongside your own countrymen. :wave:
