Help Needed Booking

I'm not a rookie at planning a Disney vacation package, my wife and I have been doing it for eight consecutive years.

As you all know the vacation special offers over the past few years have been fantastic, and each year we have taken advantage of them. This year the special offer of 40% off late summer travel (Aug 14 - Oct 1) is what we are shooting for.

Here is the problem...
Every year we go for our Anniversary (this year it is Friday August 12th). We want to spend the entire time at Disney. There are some great deals for the week starting Sunday the 14th. We would like to go for that week, but still be there on our Anniversy on the 12th.

What are your recommendations to get the best deal / what do you think the likelihood of my calling and begging a reservation specialist to extend the offer an extra two days for our Anniversary? :sohappy:

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!

First off Happy Anniversary!! Ours is the 8/20 (20th) and we will be there 8/19 -8/25!! From what I have been told is that you should be able to extend the offer if it was at the end of the trip but to get them to advance the offer if not possible. I think you would be faced with 2 different reservations...one for the first couple of days and then one starting the day the special starts. If I am wrong i am sure some one here will tell us!! If it were me..i would just wait the couple of days and go with the special and make it a week long party instead of just one day!!! Good luck and again Happy Anniversary!!!!

Unfortunately, there will be little that they can do in a situation like this. You can beg or plead all you want but the system just does not allow much in the way of flexibility when it comes to offer check in dates. About the only thing you can do if you must be there on the 12th is to break up your reservation into 2 separate reservations. This is not all that big of a deal unless you plan on getting the dining plan.
