Help! Need your advice concerning my ADR's in Sept.

Hey everyone, wanted to consult the experts before i call WDWDine and make any changes. I'm not sure how to handle this, and i do not want to jeopardize any ADR's i was able to grab...

My trip Sept 27th to October 3rd was originally supposed to be 4 adults, and 1 child (age 1). When i made my ADR's, that is how i booked everything. Due to unforeseen circumstances, one of the adults in our party will no longer be joining us. Everything now changes to 3 adults and 1 child. Should i call WDW Dine and change all ressie's over to 3 and 1 child? By doing so, will I be jeopardizing them? Should I just show up to each one and say our 4th person got sick? Finally, one of my ressie's is for CRT.... will they penalize me or charge my credit card i provided if we show up 1 adult short?

Since you are -1 adult, I'm sure its no big deal...except for maybe CRT. Might want to call about that one. If you were adding 1, you would want to call.

Call WDW about Cinderella's as soon as you can. I don't think you will lose your time slot, but I don't want them to charge you for 4 people.
For the other ADRs, just let them know when you get to the podium at each restaurant. It shouldn't be a problem.

We've gone to restaurants before with one or two less people than we've made reservations for and it's never been a problem. They didn't even question it or bat an eye. But, since you have a ressie that took your credit card number (I think they do anyway!) at CRT, I'd call and just tell them it will be 1 less adult for only that ressie. You'll be fine with the rest. See you in Sept!

Ha Rachel! We do have it as a matter of fact. Will be there Sept 28th at 7:30. Our first time going there so we're excited.

Just an update fyi...... System is back up, i'm on hold now....i'm going to ask them about CRT, will let you know what they say.

On an unrelated note..... How nice is it to call up and be on hold??! I know that sounds strange, but i'm here at work and took a few minutes to do this, and i have Right down the Middle of Main St. playing as i'm typing this.... makes for a nice break from work!!

Well that was easy... I just called and explained my situation...they simply changed it from 4 adults to 3 adults, no charge to my card or anything like that....kept my same time, and same confirmation #'s. Thanks everyone!

Awesome Eaglesfan!! Didn't think you would run into asny issues since you are lossing a person not gaining a person. Getting so excited that our trips are get closer!!! :wave:
