hey guys!
I'm new here on the board, I'm loving this!
I made a special thread about my first time in Orlando, and I have some issues about Sea World so I got the information about this topic about Sea World, so here I am to ask for your help! :)

First of all, if you guys want to know about my planning trip, here are ALL the details:
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/help-my-very-first-time.859660/#post-5315104

well,
I'm planning now Sea World Attractions, and I'm kinda lost with the shows and exhibitions

The "MUST DO" attractions list I've made so far:
-Manta
-Kraken
-Journey to Atlantis
-Wild Artic
-Turtle Trek
-Ocean Commotion

is this a good list?
any other MUST DO attractions?

about the Live Entertainment Shows, which one do you guys think are the BESTS? cuz I know I won't be able to see all of them in just a day.. :(
about the exhibitions, same question. :S

thanks in advance!

First of all, I just want to welcome you to the board! :) As for your question, I don't know if you can do Sea World in one day. It depends on the crowd and times of the shows. Get there early in the morning and begin from there. As for the animal shows times, it'll most likely be on a pan-flit park map when you walk in. So I suggest you work around the times to the shows. When a show isn't going on at the moment, you do the ride and then back and forth according to the show times. Because the rides can be done at any time!!! :) Exhibitions are just walk throughs like the penguin encounter. But remember to go see the dolphins, stingrays! I think you'll be okay if you're going to stay all day and depending on the day you go if its full or not! Good luck and have a blast! I think its key to go around the times of the animal shows and time it accordingly. Have a look at their website and look at all the encounters, shows, and exhibits for information
If your concerned about not being able to do it all one day, get the Pay a day Play all year card for 10 bucks more! Maybe you can go back the next day

The shows at SeaWorld are simply too incredible to not plan your day around. I will give you my list of must experience and possible bypass experiences:

MUST DOs:
1. Blue Horizons
2. Turtle Trek
3. One Ocean
4. Manta
5. Kraken
6. Clyde and Seymore Take Pirate Island
7. Journey to Atlantis
8. Antarctica (if you are visiting after May 24th, 2013)
9. Shark Encounter

Could By-pass:
1. Wild Arctic
2. Pet's Ahoy
3. A'llure
4. Shamu's Happy Harbor
5. Skytower

Now as far as dining goes, I highly recommend that you take advantage of one of their two incredible unique restaurants:
1. Dine with Shamu
2. Sharks Underwater Grille

Both are amazing and serve great food. Dine with Shamu is "all you can eat" buffet so you will get more band for your buck, and you are sitting right next to some killer whales.

But I would also recommend that you add in an animal encounter. So feed a dolphin, work with beluga whales, get close to penguins.

I am excited for you have fun man, and check out the Unofficial SeaWorld Podcast if you get a chance.

Hey!
Awesome description about the "must dos" and the "could by-pass"
thank you very very much for this list! I'm definitely gonna use it to prior what I do first, and then, If I have time, I'll start doing the others! :)

About those restaurants, as my budget is not that big, which one do you think it's the "least expensive one" ?

Dine with Shamu is a fixed cost. It is $29.99 and includes all the food you want to eat and a drink. So it is a good deal.

Sharks Underwater Grill will probably cost you $20 - $30.00 depending on what you order.

If that is too much, they have a great pasta, pizza and salad buffet $12.00 and includes a drink

Or you could do all day dining so it includes snack, lunch and dinner for $32.99 (that will only be worth it if you eat 3 times or more).

A cheap and fun animal experience is feeding the Seals and Sea lions. You buy some fish, and you are able to toss it to the animals.

ohhh, get it! thank you very much!
I may consider this dine with shamu, cuz I dont like to keep eating all day long during parks, I like to take a break in the middle of the day to eat and then get back to explore the whole thing :D

thank you very very much! it means a lot to me all the help!
I'm pretty sure it's gonna be the best time o my life. it's my biggest dream since I was a little kid.

Here are a list of other places and quick spots to eat at Sea World just incase you don't want to have a sit down dinner... or you get hungry during your day.
http://seaworldparks.com/seaworld-orlando/Dine-and-Shop/Dining
thanks for that! I found it very useful! I'm definitely gotta make a stop to eat something in one of those places :D

I LOVE SeaWorld I've been going for almost 20 years now (I started really young I promise!). Here are my MUST-DOS:

SHOWS
One Ocean: The signature SeaWorld show (t's basically the daytime killer whale show).
Blue Horizons: This really is an impressive spectacle - a mix of animals, divers and acrobats.
Shamu Rocks: This is the nighttime killer whale show and I think it's more fun than One Ocean. The music and lights are a lot of fun and there's something magical about it being at night.
Reflectoins: Fireworks and water fountaints - a great way to end the day!

RIDES
Journey To Atlantis: Thrilling boat ride turn mini rollercoaster. WARNING: You will get really wet which can be great in the Florida heat but has potential to be very uncomfortable with soggy clothes and shoes.
Kraken: A really fun rollercoaster with an amazing drop and loops!
Manta: This ride is terrifying but definitely worth a ride. I had never been on a rollercoaster like it - your seat rises so your back is up against the top and you are looking/hanging straight down!

ATTRACTIONS
Antarctica: It's not open until May but it looks awesome and seeing the penguins is always fun!
*Dolphin Cove: Very sweet to see the dolphins up-close and watch them play.
Dolphin Nursery: Baby dolphins!
Manta Aquarium: Pretty impressive.
Shamu Underwater Viewing: It's cool to see the whales outside of the show.
Shark Encounter: Have to go through the tunnel of sharks - creepy and fun!
Stingray Lagoon: Really cool to touch the rays and you can pay to feed them.
Wild Arctic: I can take or leave the ride, usually I skip it. However the exhibits are definitely worth it. Beluga whales, polar bears, and walruses.
TurtleTrek: This opened after my last visit so I haven't seen it yet but it looks really cool, plus the manatees are there and they are always cute.

*I HIGHLY recommend paying to feed the dolphins at Dolphin Cove, it's only $7 per tray of fish (each person that participates is required to buy at least one tray) and you get a few minutes to feed/pet them. You have the possibility to touch them without this experience but it's hard to get one of the dolphins to come over to you without fish. This guarentees you get to pet them - it's very much worth it! Make sure to check feeding times and get in line early because it will sell out.

DINING
As far as dining, I wrote this on another post so I'll copy/paste my opinion:

I've never been to Dine With Shamu or Sharks Underwater Grill - we did the All Day Dining Plan and we were beyond pleased with it. For every time you go through the line you get an entree, drink and side or dessert (although they never cared if we got both). Usually the lines are pretty short so even if you want to go back quickly for something else it's no problem. It made snacks/drinks inbetween meals very easy. Our favorite from the selected restuarants was Voyager's Smokehouse, they had really good food. We went the week before Christmas and they had great holiday options too. We also did Mango Joe's - they had a really good fajita sandwich and it's located right beside Shamu Stadium. The only other place we went to was Seaport Pizza. I don't recommend it for meals- it just tasted like frozen theme park food. It wasn't necessarily bad but there are much better options. I hope that helped!
WOOOOOOOOOW!
that's an AWESOME overview!
biiiig thanks for that! it helped me a lot! I didn't know about that dolphin thing! love that! gotta try it for sure!
huge thanks :D

I do not keep up with the current names of the shows as they change from time to time.

I would not miss the Shamu show. Next up is the dolphin show. The Clyde and Seamore show is one I would skip. It just isn't that good.

You will want to see the Sea Lion and Otter show... it is too adorable to miss!
