Help me understand this~Peter Pan's Flight - 45 minutes

Amazing what a little nap will do for you. I remember that Peter has a problem in that the loading and unloading zone are really close together so you have to wait for people to empty the vehicles so you can start loading them. I think that might be the main problem. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about in which case I'm going back to bed. :snore:

The two belts are seperate. You rarly have someone that cannot get in/out of the boat fast enough.........aaahh memories LOL :brick:

Yeah, when I was down there in May this year it was always long, and everything else was walk on / No longer than 20 minutes. Peter Pan always had 45+ Minutes. I waited til an extra magic hour night and we ended up getting on in 5 minutes, and decided that I wouldn't want to wait more than 15 for it. It's a great ride and all, but after seeing it once, I wouldn't waste time that could be spent riding other rides, waiting for it.

The Peter Pan attraction is the perfect soap opera for children. Tinker Bell is often driven by jealousy. Peter Pan is irresponsible and has the power of flight! He could cleave Captain Hook to the brisket in a heartbeat at any time. Captain Hook is handicapped. He is driven by revenge against Peter Pan for his previous defeats and by greed for the treasure. No wonder the lines are so long! They should open a gift shop and sell real daggers.

I think there a few reasons but one that I think starts it all is the vehicles are very unique to the rest of the park, kids get to go in a pirate ship and fly from London to Neverland. You can see the ships as you walk by and to a kid that is like a magnet.

I haven't ridden Peter Pan in 2 years because of the insane waits that it gets. This past trip that I went on, the MK was empty most nights. The mountains were all walk on from 6:30-8:30, but Peter Pan still had 45+ minute waits. I just can't see myself waiting that long for something that is 2 minutes long. I really think they need to get the fastpasses off of that ride, it just makes it unbearable.

Actually when you think about it, it is not half as crazy to wait that long for a 2 minute ride as waiting as long or longer to meet one character (Ariel).

IMHO without FastPass the long lines could be shorter. Last June I waited for almost an hour in the StandBy line and everybody was mad.

Don't get me wrong I do love Peter Pan, but I'm agree with many of you, the long lines simply are not worth it.

I absolutly love Peter Pan. I must do it everytime we go. The longest I made my family wait was about an hour. I just think that it is soo cool that there isnt a track below you so that you feel like your flying. Call me crazy but I love it anyway! :sohappy:
