We are going to Disney over Easter next year 4/18-4/27. I thought it would be a good opportunity to try the 3 day cruise and then head to wdw. I figured my husband would be a tough sell, as he's never been a cruise fan. But our 12 year old doesn't want to either! We have a 6 year old as well. How can I talk them into our first Disney cruise? We've been to wdw 6 times so far so a cruise would be a new experience.

Look at people's trip reports and photos, show these to him, the food, the shows, the bars, etc, it isn't just Disney characters all of the time, it's great service with kids looked after in the kids club.

I have lots of photos in my reports people look for the fantasy which overall is the same type of ship as the dream.

My husband daughter and I went on a Norwegian cruise and thought "why do people enjoy cruising?" and said we would never cruise again!! well last year we went with my family (Father 65, Mom 55, Hubby 42, daughter 17, brother 38 myself 43) went on the Dream..... We all LOVED it!! We had a FANTASTIC time!!! Going back on the ship next month and can not wait!! So much to do for kids and ADULTS!! Castaway Cay is just GORGEOUS!!! Do it!! You will love it!!

Show them the trip reports, then use Aladdin's line: Do you trust me?

lOL Tried that before, their tolerance for filth is way beyond any normal humans. I couldn't take it and ended up cleaning anyway, my husband is the cook, but the "snuggle" might work ;)

Haha. I was going to ask if the "snuggle" strike was a euphemism for something else. :D
