Help me settle a dispute with my dh

I want to finish next year's trip at Disney and my dh say he want's to do UNI last. We'll have 10 day hoppers with the WP for Disney so that's 14 days. Seeing they must be used on 14 consecutive days Disney is either going to start or finish our trip. We're going in August so I'm thinking I'd rather have the lower crowds at Disney and finish in my happy place. Help me think of ways to convince him he's SO WRONG! THNX

I'm not a fan of Uni, so I'd get that out of the way in the beginning and allow more time at WDW to enjoy the parks :D

Just say with the vacation winding down, lets do one of the WDW parks in a laid back manner not to rush, something you can't really do if your trying to squeeze everything in at Uni

When I was little my Mom lived for her kids so she would have left it up to the little ones especially on vacation. She would never even consider being selfish. Have you guys ever been to Universal? Chances are if you go first then they are going to want to go back. I say majority rules!

Keep Moving Forward
At least you are planning together. Our planning is we both decide where we are going. I do all the planning work, trying to get input but getting answers like, "I'm not sure", "It's so far away", "I'll look at it later" then the day before we leave he looks at everything and asks a million questions I already tried to discuss with him and he tries to change half the trip. We end up doing what I originally planned.

Other than wanting 2 ADRs, which parks first and a day for Kennedy all he knows is 95 south LOL

Breaking with tradition and staying 7 nights at the Contemporary then 7 nights at HRH this trip-ending at Uni and staying there longer than usual. Our Disney days are long and packed (in a very good, excited way!!) but we found being onsite at Uni meant a 'slower pace' with express passes, everything within walking distance and also just less rigid plans, which is what we wanted for the end of our hols. Will see how it goes.

Ending at Magic Kingdom is wonderful. Hang back when everyone else leaves, get a dog or ice cream sandwich, then find a seat and watch the castle. The park gets quiet fairly quickly as the guests leave and it is magical to sit, watch, and listen. And, about 30 min after the park closes, the castle lights up with a "Goodnight Kiss." Just a lovely way to end a trip.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
so is universal not a happy place? i would rather sip a brew in diagon alley so i REMEMBER the most immersive experience you can currently get in Florida....period.

Nope not mine or my DH's happy place by any means and yes he is a Harry Potter fan etc. He enjoyed that part of Universal's parks but that was about it. Lol Oh and we did enjoy Finnegan's restaurant but still nowhere I'm dying to go back to nor he is wanting to go back anytime soon. We will go again I'm sure but definately will never finish a trip there on purpose. Lol :)
