Boardwalker here, long time Disney nerd and pot stirrer! We are staying on Disney property for 7 nights in May, but we are not doing any Disney parks. I have 3 day passes to UO and we are gonna do Legoland, Seaworld, and the infamous Gatorland! I'm pumped, but I've done UO and IA before and could probably do them both in one day. Help me pace myself, what are some things you guys love to just look at, hang around, enjoy etc.....I will have my wife, 7 year old, and 4 year old in tow. We haven't been to any of the new Harry Potter stuff yet either.
Thanks in advance!

Add a day just for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. DA is a good half day alone and then there is all of Hogsmeade and Forbidden Journey. Hope the 7 yo is into it, the 4 can be child swapped so you all get the castle tour. Add in Hippogrif, a meal at Three Broomsticks the shows and you have at least another half day. Slow down and enjoy, they really built something special for your enjoyment.

What I would recommend spend one day at each park and then take your third day to revisit your favorites in both parks. Also, make sure you have a Park to Park ticket, so you can not only revisit attractions in both parks, but can also ride the Hogwarts Express.

Also, if you haven't been since Hogsmeade opened, all of this will be new:
  • Hogsmeade
    • Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
    • Flight of the Hippogriff (Re-themed from Flight of the Unicorn)
    • Drake Challenge (Re-themed from Dueling Dragons)
    • Ollivanders
    • Tons of shops and restaurants
    • Hogwarts Express
  • Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem
  • Transformers THE RIDE: 3D
  • Diagon Alley
    • Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
    • Ollivanders
    • Hogwarts Express
    • TONS of shops, restaurants and entertainment
  • Skull Island: Reign of Kong (It may possible be open for technical rehearsals)
I'm probably forgetting some other things as well. :p

Good ideas! Thanks! Plan on doing a lot of slow walking for sure. Me and my wife always loved city walk, may catch Captain America Civil War one night at the theater!

1. If Kong is open, it most likely will be inappropriately intense for the kids. Think horror movie scary. You're not at Disney.

2. I would follow up Gatorland with dinner at I Drive 360 with a spin on the Orlando Eye.

3. Mostly just go, have a good time, and relax.
