Help me decide!

My family is having a hard time deciding on a time for our next annual trip to the World! Now that there is no real "down time" to go it isn't as easy to pick a time! Let me also preface that we are a military family and cannot make our reservations until the next military salute is announced which happens sometime in July. At that time we can book our resort and get our tix. Yes, we could go the SOG route, but we never do. We usually stay at OKW or POR/POFQ. Anyhoo, I'm going back and forth between a week in late September, the week before Thanksgiving, or the first week of May 2015. I don't want to wait until NEXT May, but will consider it. I'm calling on my fellow WDW pals for insights, pep talks, rousing calls for a particular time! Oh, and we have visited the World at all of those times. I just can't decide this time!

I've gone down both the week before Thanksgiving and the last week of September and both are great times. I prefer September because I am a huge fan of the food and wine festival. November is great because the parks are all Christmas decorated. The weather is September is also really great. I'd go with September. :)

Last week in September is the food and wine festival, which is awesome, first week in May is the flower and garden festival and with the addition of food booths, although not as many choices as F&W, has added another aspect to the festival, and is my favorite time to be in the world, but that means a longer wait and I know how hard that can be. Even though May is my favorite, September is a close second, If i was booking a trip I don't think I could wait over a year and would probably choose September. Hope this helps!

I have gone in early May and the end of September. I prefer May. I love the weather (it seems to rain less) & absolutely love the Flower & Garden Festival. The crowds were very similar both in September and May. One of the pluses with September is we were able to take advantage of the "free dining" they offered.

May would be my first choice. Been going the first week of May/very end of April for years now, to celebrate our anniversary. Crowds aren't that bad, weather is wonderful.

Second choice for me would be September. F&W, my very favorite time of year, crowds should be low, weather should be good.

Thanks for all your responses! We've been down for MNSSHP, MVMCP and all the holiday merriment, and in early May! I'm leaning towards September b/c I really don't want to wait until next May!
