Help- MAJOR Dilemma!

So I have a choice- while DS is at camp for a week in the summer we like to do an adults only trip:
1. Go to Disney, stay on property (long lines ugh)
2. Stay @ RP at Uni (express pass)
3. Stay At Hilton Seaworld (Quick queue)

Option 3 is by FAR the cheapest and we are PH for everything, so tickets aren't an issue. The problem is, if we do 1 or 2, we will not have enough money to do a family Disney trip in November. HOWEVER, it is our Anniversary and I do not really want to stay outside of Disney or Uni, I think I will be disappointed. What would you do?

If your intention is to do a family trip in November, then staying at SeaWorld would be the only choice. You can still go to Disney, have a nice dinner or something to celebrate your anniversary, and be able to do the family thing a few months later.

RPH. I wouldn't even think twice. :)

PBH is a great hotel, but RPH has my favorite rooms of any I received in Orlando. I really like staying there. :) And you just can't beat the whole EP thing.

But if you really want to go in November and this would make that impossible, find a cheaper place to stay. Can't help you with that decision!

While I do not know what RP is, and I am guessing that Uni is short for Universal Studio's, nor do I know what PH is, I would do #3 go to Seaworld and have a nice anniversary. Your family trip in Nov. will be here before you know it

I used to think that I'd feel less "Disney" staying off property, but I have since drastically changed my ways (although now it's 50/50 on property and off). I say stay at the Hilton (still a nice hotel) and get your bonus trip in. You'll have that extra trip to look forward to, and you'll still have a great time at the Hilton!

Getting on property can sometimes actually be faster from an off-property hotel than using WDW transportation. That's one thing to consider. And since you're passholders, you won't have to pay for parking. Ironically, I've found that driving and parking in WDW offers its own unique "magic" to people who are used to taking WDW transport.

Uni is short for "Universal Orlando", which has US (Universal Studios) and IoA (Islands of Adventure). :)

RPH (RP) is the Royal Pacific Hotel.

I think the OP used PH = Passholders, but am not sure.

Thanks everyone- looks like we will be at the Hilton- it will be an "Orlando" trip. There are a couple of places in Winter Park we'd like to try for lunch, I still haven't been to Aquatica or Mall at Millenia, we love SeaWorld, and hopefully we will have time for Uni. DS would be furious if we did Disney without him and he has been begging to see all the Christmas festivities all year- can't let my little dude down :D

Two trips are better than one. Make the sacrifice. A November trip with the family, hopefully amidst the holiday lights and decorations will be special. Do something special to celebrate the anniversary and dont reflect on being off site.
