HELP! Ideas for a short notice "memory trip"

My wife's cousin has been given a "memory trip" to Disney World by the Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation. She has been fighting breast cancer for two years now and it has spread to other parts of her body.

They are getting an all expenses trip to the World for three days in October. My wife and I wanted to "plus" it by getting her family tickets to a very special Disney experience. Maybe a fireworks cruise or something on a par with that. Something really unique that her children (7 year old daughter, 5 year old son) will treasure that they got to do as a family.

So I'm turning to the experts for ideas. Obviously it needs to be something we have a reasonable chance of booking for a trip just over a week away.

Please and thank you! :)

God bless her! If she is staying at a Disney resort, I would suggest contacting the front desk/concierge to see what they can do. They are famous for providing extra magic whenever they can, and I'm sure given the circumstances they would be more motivated than usual to provide both suggestions and reservations.

Others here will have specific ideas that you could look into, but I think the hotel staff is the way to go to make it happen.

Best of luck to you all!

Try to get them Cirque du Soleil tickets. There isn't a bad seat in the house, so anything you can get even this late would be a wonderful experience.

Oh wow. :(

Try one of these. There's a variety, depending on their interests:

I had thought of that, but they are staying at Swan and Dolphin so they won't quite have that extra Disney Magic.

DOH! Dunno why I didn't think of that before!

Thanks everyone for some great ideas!
