Help For Disney School Project, Again

Hi everyone. I need some more help for my big paper I'm doing on Walt Disney. I plan on having a section of the repot focus on how Walt has effected people today. So if there is anyone on these boards that has been influenced By Walt Disney tell me about it. Thaks so much.

Walt has influenced me in practically everything I do today. I love doing art and never got into it until I got Make Mine Music when I was a young boy on Christmas. From that day, I knew I wanted to be an animator for him (well his company as he passed before I was born). I have since had to change my path as Eisner took that dream away from me, but I'm sticking with Walt's visions. I want the best for the public and put them before myself and everything else. I'd like to run one of the resorts at WDW and/or a theme park there. If I can't do either, I want to do something in the corporate part of the business and work myself up the ladder to become President/CEO. Would I have these dreams and aspirations if it weren't for Walt...no. I'd never be interested in theme park management, resort management or anything involving those themes if it weren't for him. He is the one that keeps me drawing and going towards my dreams. After all, he started off with very little money and pencil on a train to CA. Dreams do come real, and I can't wait for mine to come real too!

I think that I would still be the same person even without Walt, but the thing that I admire most and choose to emulate about him is his focus on the importance of family. I fist watched The Wonderful World of Disney on my father's lap. I now hold my children as we endlessly watch Disney DVDs. Traditions and closeness - that's what I think of when I think of Walt.

Walt has not only influenced us individually, but he has changed the world on a very large scale. Walt borught animation in to a world that never accepted something like that. He is also responsible for creating the most reputable and family oriented vacation spot in the entire world. Walt is one of the most influencial people to have ever lived...it should be easy to recognize all he has done.

This will sound a little hokey but I've been going to Disney World since I was a small child and everywhere at Disney is the mantra "if you can dream it, you can do it." Growing up with that kind of power behind you, you tend to believe in the impossible. Walt influenced me to believe that there is nothing that I don't think that I can do.

The question is more like what has Walt not touched! Well for one, it's the reason we are all here on this site.
Walt has pioneered the cartoon and its advances
He has set many standards for film and television
He has set the standard for a theme park (heck, he invented the theme park)
He has established business, entertainment, and creativity philosophies that are as relevent today as they were 30-50 years ago.
To me he has provided a philosophy on the way to approach life, family and work. His business models are taught in all of the premier MBA programs.
He has introduced us to any number of enduring icons.
Perhaps most of all, at least for me, he personifies hope and the positive.
