I'm going to Disney in February and my dad and I can't decide which restaurant we want to eat at during our second day at Epcot.

The ones we need to decide between are:

-Biergarten
-Coral Reef
-Les Chef de France
-MarraKesh
-Teppan Edo
-Tokyo Dining
-Yakitori House

Which one should we choose for dinner? Any opinons?

I voted for Coral Reef. It's an amazing atmosphere w/the giant aquarium in the dining room.

The food is good. We've found it to be hit or miss. In May 2010 we had one of the best meals we've ever eaten in our lives (grilled swordfish - catch of the day.) In May 2011 we got the catch of the day....some fish that was not swordfish..and it was not very good at all. Mine was bland and had bone pieces in it.

But out of the restaurants listed - thats where we'd eat.

Close second would be Teppan Edo. Absolutely delicious food and fun atmosphere. But we can get hibachi style at home so thats the reason we don't frequent this one - but we loved it!

We ate at Coral Reef, Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, and Rose & Crown on our recent trip and our party of 6 all agreed that Teppan Edo was our favorite meal. Great service and good food. Coral Reef was probably a close 2nd.

I voted Teppan Edo because its one of the better places to get Seafood at EPCOT. The reef is bland and has very poor menu for a seafood based theme.

Where are you eating your first night? You forgot to mention.

I've always enjoyed Coral Reef, never had a bad meal there.

I also enjoy Biergarten and Les Chefs de France, although France is not what it used to be (if you've never eaten there, though, you won't know what you're missing-it's still better than decent)

Out of the restaurants you've named, we've eaten at Les Chefs, Coral Reef, Marrakesh, and Biergarten. We enjoyed Les Chefs and Biergarten, but Marrakesh was so bad that I'd never return and Coral Reef was disappointing. Out of the rest of your list, Teppan Edo is on my short list of places I want to try.

Just curious why people say: :I can get hibachi here at home and so we dont go there". You can get all this food at home. That's not the point, its DISNEY and all that entails..You can get Pizza at home, Italian, German,Mexican food, burgers. So book what you think.. We go for atmosphere as well as menu selections.

We are eating at Le Cellier the first day! :)

Lucky you! Hope you enjoy it, I am anxious to try out the new menu.

I got a Le Cellier reservation for night 3 of my stay next week. Our other choices are Artist Point, Flying Fish, and Biergarten for lunch on the day we go home. It's a short trip. But a short trip to WDW is better than no trip to WDW! :D

I have not eaten at ALL of the restaurants on your list ...
I went with Teppan Edo because it's next on my list of "must do"

Enjoy:wave:

Another vote for Teppan. For years I never gave this restaurant a thought, after I finally went, I'm hooked. Second choice would be Chefs de France.

Similar food probably, but I don't know of a restaurant near home with an atmosphere like Coral Reef. And I would have no idea where to get Moroccan food at home. There's plenty of hibachi style steak houses and a couple of French places but nowhere like Coral Reef lol

Sad to see Nine Dragons isn't on there b/c it's my favorite, but I voted for Teppan Edo because it's a unique and memorable experience.

I'd never had any Japanese food in my life and didn't even dream of trying it... until Tokyo Dining. The service was fantastic and the food was even better! I look forward to heading back and eating around the world more often.
