Hi there, we are a family of 4 currently planning WDW, kids will be 12 and 15 when we're there, and it's our first time. What are the most helpful tips you would give that yiu wish you had known before your first trip? Thanks all ❤️

There are so many. Give us some info. Where are you staying? How long for? When are you staying? What are your looking to accomplish? I would be happy to take a PM, but there is a lot of info out there for people to offer to you.

Hi we're staying in a villa in champions gate for 3 weeks next March, we are wanting to do disney world, universal studios, open to ideas of other must see/do places. Favourite places to eat, we aren't a picky family so open to most things. Just any info relating to the entire trip that a first timer would find helpful, right from when you step off the plane to getting back on it to come home. Thank you for your reply 😊

A very helpful website is touringplans dot com. It has a lot of good info for free and other paid planning tools. The owner @lentesta is an active member here on the forums. 3 weeks is great! How many park days do you have planned?

Oh brilliant, i will have a look at that website too. That's the thing we weren't sure about, how many days to dedicate to which parks etc. We want to have chill days too but we definitely need to plan how many days for park days. Just been researching to get the general gist of where people tend to stay the longest.

Magic Kingdom is the park with the most attractions, but it is also the busiest. Epcot will be having the flower and garden festival at that time, so it will also be busy on the weekends. We always try to do these 2 parks on weekdays. You can also consider whether or not you want park hopper tickets. They are more expensive but also can make life easier. Sometimes you can get everything you want done in a park in a day, but sometimes it is nice to have another half day. You do not have to be staying on property to use WDW transportation. A lot easier than moving your car when park hopping or even visiting the resorts. There are a bunch of good threads here about lightning lanes and virtual queues. You will want to be familiar with these.

Rest and get your groceries on the day you arrive so there's no jet lag. Are you getting 14 or 21 day tickets? Kennedy Space Center
