I love Hello Kitty. My cousin is totally obsessed. She special orders all sorts of stuff from Sanrio in Japan constantly just to keep her daughter's room in full Hello Kitty decor. I have been a HK fan since birth. For Christmas, I got my daughter the coolest little HK house with furniture & figures. eBay is another great place to find Sanrio products!

finally!

Yeah!!! Another HK fan!!!! :D I really loved seeing HK at that park! That's the friend that got me hooked on HK! She used to live a few blocks away from me for like 7 years, she was my best friend, then she moved to Cincinnati and we haven't talked much since. Our Show Choir sang at the Reds game the day before that. So I thought I'd call her & tell her to meet me there. And we went shopping in the HK store there! But we shopped at the end of the day! :( So I was broke! But she bought us these adorable HK best friend necklaces! :D Just thought I'd share! ;)

fridgepoliceman,

That's REALLY gross. That falls beneath even my own low standards. Please edit it and clean it up... remember, there are children that read these boards... and frankly, they don't need to be reading that stuff.

actually, in all seriousness, only 1 time have a girls parents not loved me from the beginning... and I changed their opinion very quickly. Mom and Daughters (the oldest was my GF at the time) were at the mall, when the Mom passes out. She is rushed to the hospital w/ one of the younger sisters, while me and GF wait for dad to arrive. 15 mins later we get a call from the dad, he's stuck in traffic. So I finally tell her I'm getting her to the hospital to be w/ her mom...

I go up to an Orlando cop and explain the situation, and he gave us a ride to the hospital for free in his squad car (they have slippery backseats...) We get to the hospital, and I stand by her the whole time. Later that night, mom (she's better by now) and dad take me out to dinner as a 'thank you' to me

That's funny.

I often wonder how I will be on my dd boyfriends when she becomes dating age. I can't hardly stand to think of her at that age :( but it's slipping up on me faster than I would like.

About Hello Kitty...I just asked dd if she had anything Hello kitty (I wasn't sure) and she said yes, that she a "little hello kitty that has a garage looking thing and you flip it up and get the stickers out" (That was directly quoted from her)

I've heard of Hello kitty too, but i'm a fan of some of the other characters out there. I like Keroppi, or kerokerokerokeroppi. Did I forget a 'kero'?? (it's the frog in the middle)

My daughter had tons of HK stuff when she was little...pocketbook, stuffed toys, pencil case, the works! The last time we were in the Japanese dept. store in Epcot, she made a beeline for the HK counter! (Um, I should mention that she's in college now... )
