I'm sure we all remember our first love, even if it wasn't good for us. I remember the first time I fell in love with a food at Disney the chocolate mousse from the french bakery. It wasn't very good to me, but I loved it for a long time. So please tell me the first time you fell in love with a Disney food.

The lamb at Brown derby is my first love! I ate that for years. Now, sadly it is gone I miss it

I hate to admit this, especially to @figmentfan423, but it was a hamburger from The Barefoot Bar at the Poly on our first visit in 1971 as a kid. The Barefoot Bar was a wee little QS place that served the best hamburgers and the nostalgia of my family eating there after a fun day at the MK will always remind me of really good times.

Coral Reef...back in it's "heyday" had a fettuccine marinara with shrimp, mussels, and scallops and it was fantastic. I couldn't have been more than 9 when I had it. If they ever bring that back you might as well pencil me in for a permanent ADR there. It was fantastic.

It may have lost some of the luster over the years but I can still remember the excitement of knowing I'd be enjoying fresh popped popcorn at Disneyland or Disneyworld when I was a young child. Also the Mickey Supremium bars as my son calls them.

I agree with this, too. The Coral Reef was hard to beat, back in the day!!

Well, the first time I fell in love with Disney food was fittingly with the Premium bar. I tried a Premium bar for the first time in a 2010 WDW trip. I had heard the popularity from watching an episode of Food Network's Unwrapped and how they make it, keep it cold and how much they sell, etc. So the first time I had one was at Hollywood Studios and the first bite I took, I was in food bliss. There was just something great about the combination of dark chocolate that wasn't too bitter and vanilla ice cream in every bite.
