Hello Everyone. My name is David and I am new to this site. I have been reading the forums for a little while now, but have not officially joined until now. I have really enjoyed reading everones opinions and thoughts about WDW. I have also loved seeing all of the beautiful pics that you guys post on the various Picture Of The Day threads. I love Walt Disney World, I love everything Disney....the parks, the movies......I have been to WDW about 5 times. Unfortunately because of financial reasons, I am not able to visit the parks as often as some of you on these forums. I am hoping to get bacfk to the World around 2012/2013 when they open the new Fantasyland attractions. I also would not mind staying in the new Art Of Animation resort that will be across from Pop Century..which also happens to be my favorite resort. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I hope you all have a great day! Look forward to posting with you guys!

I'm new here today also. I see where alot of people plan a few years in advance to visit WDW. The one thing I have to say is DON'T EVER book your trip between Christmas & New Years. Planned for a couple months to take the Grandkids for their Christmas present. What a dissappointment !!!! 2,3,&4 hour waits at some of the attractions. Even the kids refused to stand in line that long. I hope they enjoyed what they did get to do...but there was soooo much they didn't get to do. The flight & whole expensive trip just seemed like a terrible waste. I knew it was a busy time - -but who really knew it would be THAT crowded. What a let- down. :(

I've never been to Disney World during the Christmas season. I love the way they decorate the parks, and the Osbourne lights are really cool. But it's just a little too crowded for my taste. A great time to go is around May when Epcot has the Flower and Garden Festival.
