Height Requirement Card

During our trip in 2007, my son received a few of these cards when he was unable to ride an attraction because of height. I thought it was just a souvenir from Disney that was designed to make him feel better about not being able to ride. Now I just saw them on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/DISNEY-MAGIC-KI...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

Nothing on the cards say they are to be used as a fastpass. Has anyone else gotten these cards and used them as a fastpass or is this just another scam?

They do work as a one time Fastpass for your family if your child returns and is tall enough, but yes selling them is a scam.

I would never have guessed they could be used as a fastpass. I hope I can find the ones we got on our last trip so we can use them next month. Thanks for the info.

When we went in 2007 my daughter received one for the Rockin Roller Coaster, she was short by about an inch. When we went back in 2008, she was so excited to use it but I forgot it at home. I didn't really think she would remember. I went up to the CM and explained and he gave me another one to use. We used it just like a fastpass. She thought she was really special.

Those are really cool! I used to work at a Six Flags park and the most heartbreaking part of the job was telling an excited little kid that they were not tall enough to ride. I'll be this helps alot.

The thing that always got me was the parents (I've seen it alot at WDW) that would yell at the cast members when their kid wasn't allowed to ride. I understand that you've spent thousands of dollars to get in but the height restrictions are for safety. I feel bad for the poor Attractions CM's at Disney who have to take those verbal beatings. It was no picnic at Six Flags where the prices are less than a quarter of the price.
