Having MDR dinner in suite on embarkation day?

We're going on a 3 night cruise in January and are staying in a suite (WOHOO!:joyfull:) and since it's just my wife and I we're planning on eating in our suite for 2 of the nights and Palo for another. I'm wondering if it is possible to do that on embarkation day, and if so do we speak to the concierge? We've never stayed in a suite before so not sure what the procedure is. Also are we confined to the menu from whatever MDR we would have been eating at or can we choose from any of the MDR menus?
Thanks!

@Monty, when you cruise in a suite you can order off the MDR & Palo menus and have it served in the room. ;)

OP, I'm not entirely sure if you can do the MDR dinner in-suite on the first night. You definitely need to talk to your concierge about that. Maybe you could ask shoreside planning when they contact you. We've not ordered dinner in from the MDRs when we cruised in suites. We always forget. LOL! I can find out for sure next month, tho. I'll be in an 00T again. WooHOO!

I have no reason to doubt you. I was just looking at their web site and it didn't indicate that it was an option.

It's been over ten years since I was on a Disney Cruise, so I can't provide personal experience. ;)

Yeah, I'm not sure all the concierge/suite perks are listed out on the website. I think a lot of the details make the rounds via word of mouth & forum discussion. I sorta vaguely remember the concierge mentioning it to us when we've sailed suites but they don't make a big fuss over it. We've never done it.

Thanks to our great TA I've got an answer!
According to the concierges you can order off the MDR menu even on the first night, so we're all set!
