Haven't been to Disney World since January 1998

Hello there, I'm new to these forums but thought it would be the best place to pose my question. As the title states, the last time I had been to Disney World was January 1998. Happily however, my best friend and I have a trip booked for this June. So I was curious. I know a lot has changed since last I was there, but I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on where to go first or what to make sure and check out while there.

Yeah, I figured as much. We have a couple of places reserved right now. Kind of miss when you could just walk into sit down restaurants. I'm assuming the over the counter places have about the same wait time? Depending on the time. I remember them having lines but nothing too long, like a few minutes or so.

The counter services are not too bad as far as wait goes, as long as you don't plan to eat lunch right at noon. It's best to eat a little early or later than usual to avoid the long lines. Peco's, Casey's, and Cosmic Ray's can get very busy during the rush times.

I'll have to make sure we do that in the morning then at Animal Kingdom.

Speaking of Disney property resorts, do you happen to know how long it usually takes to have the Disney bus drive you to your resort? Port Orleans is were we're staying I believe. I've never flown in and stayed in a Disney Resort before...Well, outside of camping at Fort Wilderness resort that is.

I think all and all it took about 45 minutes early this month. It really depends on how many stops are before your resort and that does get shuffled. We stopped at Old Key West then Port Orleans. Going back to MCO guests were on the bus prior to our pick up and then we hit OKW and off to MCO.
