I don't get the "doesn't participate with ME for the return flight." Does this mean you can't use ME for the return flight or that you can use ME to get to the airport, but you have to take your luggage with you?

It just means you have to take your luggage with you. It's bizarre that SW doesn't particpate yet, considering more people are probably flying them to Disney than any other airline.

It seems a lot of people interchange the terms "ME" and "Resort Check in", which are 2 separate services.

ALL airlines participate in Magical Express, which is the shuttle service to and from MCO. On your inbound flight, it also includes ME picking up your luggage (if you've tagged them with the yellow ME tags) and taking them to your resort.

Resort Check In is a service provided for participating airlines only, where upon your return home you can check in for your flight, get your boarding pass, and check your luggage at your hotel, before going to the airport. This is a great benefit because then at MCO, you proceed right to security to go to your gate, without having to schlep your luggage around to check in. At this time, Southwest does not participate. (which stinks)

Whenever we travel, we use Southwest. We used them a month ago to go to NY and we're using them again in the fall to go to Dallas (GO COWBOYS!!). They truly are a no-frills airline. If you're looking to take an airline at a cheaper rate than anyone else, in relatively comfortable seats with very few extras, than you can't do any better than Southwest. If you feel you need tons of leg room, a ridiculous little pillow that really doesn't do much or a meal made out of sawdust and preservatives, feel free to pay more to take another airline. *DING*

If you are at a Disney resort, they can do your boarding pass over the internet and print it at the concierge desks..have done this at deluxe and mod resorts. That way, you can get right in at the 24 hour opening time and get Group A.
