...speaking of dogs...

Our baby was shivering this morning. :( We have the temperature go down quite a bit at night (to save money and.. because I like snuggling under the covers) She sleeps on top her "blanket" which she wraps around in a circle, sort of making a bed. But that's all she has. And, we have her sleep in the kitchen, so there's no carpet or anything else for her to snuggle into.

I want to get her a doggie bed, but that just hasn't worked in the past. She, for some reason, really likes to eat the stuffing out of animal toys and things like that; so she chews it. Plus, I want one that is easy to wash.

Any recommendations?

Awwww. Have you tried one of those donut ones?? Not sure how easy they are to wash, though...

Yikes! Doggie beds are expensive! :dazzle:

I'm toying with the idea of letting have free roam of the house except for our bedroom during the night. That way, she can snuggle where she pleases... But if she knows we're in the bedroom without her for a long period of time, I bet she'll whine.

And, we tried sleeping with her in the bed once... I'm a "picky sleeper." I need silence and darkness, and her breathing (she's a pug) doesn't let me sleep as soundly.:(

Max had one of these http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752847 that he used to sleep in, only the sides are stuffed.

We recently got him a new dog bed from a catalog--can't remember the name of it-- that's all stuffed and he LOVES it. I'll see if I can find out the company name.

I actually JUST went out and got a coffee... but I slept well last night for the first time in like 2 months so I don't really need it... (I really just wanted a coffee roll from dunks... :lookaroun)

Cool! Are they washable? Would they be easy to chew apart the seams?

(I'm making my dog sound difficult. She's not really... not at all.. She just really likes to lick and chew her stuffed animal toys and blanket. She doesn't chew our things.)

I'm good! I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked too, this morning I was dreaming and slept too late. So I feel like I am running a half step behind today.

Yes they are washable and wash pretty well (though I don't think Mom put it in the dryer so it didn't get fuzzy.

I think as long as she had her toys in the bed with her she wouldn't chew on it. But from what I remember the seams were pretty good, as long as we had it and as much as we washed it, the seams never came loose or anything.

Hard to tell, Max was never really a chewer.
