In '90 we were one step behind Billy Joel, Christy Brinkley and their daughter all day in the MK & MGM. We never saw them in the flesh once, but heard 'You just missed' a dozen times, including the Prime Time Cafe. All the CM's said the kid was a world class brat!

New Years Eve 2001/2002 we were at Animal Kingdom where we met Steven Tyler. My dad ran up and started talking to him and shook his hand. (He didn't want to ask for an auto graph because it would draw attention.)

She was very upset because some of these terrible people who payed for their trip kept walking in front of her piece to camera. and it was us TV liscence payers that funded her trip.
For those in the UK it was none other than .....Smiley Smiley Carol Smiley. :hurl:

Its Smilie Smile Carol Smilie :D :D :D (that Smilie is an understatement - her real smile is worse  )

In Dec. of 1994 at Disney-MGM , I met Connie Stevens on Sunset BLVD.She was at the Academy Theater signing her new Christmas Cd and casset. I got to talk with her ,photo and two autographs- one in the Disney Autograph book and on the Casset Cover. Her two daughters also sing on the soundtrack but where not their to sign.

Sid Ceaser was also their that day promoting his Book , but never showed up at the studios that evening .

I have given a tour for many celebrities over the time I was with "Living with the Land". I was usually asked to give VIP tours when they came around.
Some were odd... (I couldn't stop staring at Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton's hair throughout the tour. It was unreal. It just stood there. It didn't move.)

But the most memorable was a tour for an obscure visiting German documentary filmaker (who I had just studied in a college film class). He was being taken around with a vip guide and a camera crew as he tour areas that would be related to the Animal Kingdom (which was in construction at the time). It was a private tour and the crew filmed him as he looked at the different growing techniques. I confirmed his name witht he guide who was shocked that I knew who he was and introduced me as a film student. After the tour he (speaking through his translator) thanked me for the tour, praised the delivery, and spoke to me for a few minutes about film making and his career. It was probably the coolest thing that I had ever experienced.

Two years, ago, we almost literally ran into Pat Sajak and his son coming off the elevator at Boardwalk Inn. I also saw John Elway and his family on Big Thunder Mountain.
