Have you booked a bounce back?

Just wondering how many people have ever booked the bounce back offer left in the room? We did this year, for September 2014 for the first time! However this year I found the offer hard to find, it was inside a booklet with other information, whereas last year it was left on the desk on a flyer!

They do different offers, sometimes free dining packages, sometimes room-only discounts. If it's a package, the deposit is $200 and payable in full 45 days before check-in. If room-only it's one night's room charge, remainder payable at check-in.

It was not in our welcome packet we recieved at check in , this is where I was looking for it. Then a few days later we were flipping threw the packet of info sheets/booklets(the one that has a list of tv channels, phone numbers etc) that they have in the room and this is where we found it. It was also on a page in the middle of the book, to me not very well advertised for people who may not know there offers exist.

This is also where I found ours. We booked before we left for November....

Just booked four future stays while I was there. Yes, the info is in a pull-out in the middle fold of a booklet in the info packet that's in your room.

For what it's worth, the booking code when you call is "Joy" for the discounts. Dial 8844 from your resort room, give them that code and they'll take care of your needs.

Last time I booked a bounce back, I was told I could only book one future stay. Did you make all 4 future stays at once or call at different times?

We have done it. Sometimes you even need to call guest services to find out about it. Do not bother asking at the front desk...every time I have they are very confused and have no idea what that is or how it works. The last one was buried though like you said but was for a date which had already passed.

Hey All! I just want to make sure I understand all of this because, even though we haven't even left yet for the April trip I am already planning another trip for the Fall. So, when I book the bounce back in April with the room discount ( not sure which hotel yet) I will be eligible for the free dining package when that promotion is announced? I'm looking at the historical data and planning the dates around that information. Thanks for helping me understand this![2014/04/13=][/2014/04/19] AoA Family Suite

You cannot have more than one discount. So if you book a room only discount and free dining opens, you must pay rack rate for the room in order to get the free dining. You need to do the math to determine if the room discount or free dining is better for you financially.

You can only book with one discount..

So let's say on your April trip you book the "bounceback" which is a room discount (hypothetical, I'm not sure what the bounceback is right now) and then free dining is released for your next travel dates, you will need to do the math and work out what is the best value .

I didn't realize a bounce back would be something other than a room discount. So, it could be a room discount or free dining? What other options could it be? Thanks so much!

This is where we found it in May 2014. We considered it, but did not bite. We wanted to try renting DVC points next time.
