Have I gone overboard??

I think my Disney trip planning obsession has gone overboard! Already printed out all my ADRs and confirmation numbers arranged in a color coated chart, and had it laminated. Got my cupcakes around the world list ready, and now I'm creating a document of all the outfits I'm bringing. My trip is in 26 days, and I think I may have lost it!! Anyone else go a little crazy when it comes to planning your vacation?!

I want to start packing my suitcase but I am trying my hardest not too! Help!!

You have not gone overboard, I do the same thing about 90 days out! I laminate my ADRs also and use it as a book mark until my next trip.

Just a tad but there are many just like you on this site. ~sigh~ myself included. I will say though I've never laminated my ADR's or made a document list of outfits. You must have some killer organization skills.

If you enjoy doing those things and it makes you happy, that's all that matters. To me, doing all the prep work for a trip to the World is half the fun.

I've printed and colour coded my ADRs but I'm loving the laminated idea.....

I've been packing my suitcase since March. It's sitting on my closet floor, and as I come across things I need to take, I've been tossing them in there...

I wouldn't worry about it. It just shows that you are committed to having a great trip, and excited for it!

Although not nearly as "organized" as you, My DW and Oldest DD make sure they're on the phone first thing on morning 180 for ADR's, plan most of our Park days around EMH, and Oldest DD types out an itinerary that we use as a general guideline. And they, including youngest DD, pack pretty big with outfits and such girly things.
I and DS on the other hand, fill each of our one smallish duffles, the night before, with socks, underwear, a few T's, a few tropical type button down shirts, a few pairs a' cargo shorts, a coupla' pairs a' shoes, a pair a' flip flops, and one pair a' swim trunks each. Throw in a toothbrush a razor and a hair brush and that's pretty much it for DS and myself for a week-long Disney adventure...!

On these boards I often feel like the crazy one because once we have a trip booked we do almost no planning...pack the morning of the trip and just go. lol

If thats what you enjoy doing, go for it and plan away. I never write anything down or plan what will happen once we're in the parks. We like freestyle best.
