Haunted Trivia

Ok, here we go with some very tricky questions from my personal favorite resting place... the WDW Haunted Mansion! Ok...

1. Based on the reading material found in the library, what can we assume is the career field of Master Gracy?

2. I'm really in the mood for some hot and cold chills. Tragicaly, there are no hot chills, but where in this place can I find some cold ones?

3. Egads! There's something not quite average about the helmet of that suit of armor that greets you with a squeaky shift of his weight as you first come across the endless hallway. Just what is so odd about his helmet?

4. In the endless hallway is an umbrella stand. I'm looking for my hat and think I may have left it here. Please tell me how many men's hats are on the rack and while your at it, how many women's. For a bit of bonus, tell me how many umbrellas there are and what color each is!

5. Nasty as it seems, something just isn't right about the grandfather's clock! I certainly don't mean the chime of 13... everyone knows about that! Do tell (if you can) what is odd about the hands of this clock

Now, wasn't that just dreadful? I'll give you mortals some
...time... to answer these after which I'll give you the answers and post some more. Don't kill yourself trying to answer these (Actually...). And no cheaters please, Madame Leota has a head for catching the dishonest.

Master Gracey was a sailor according to one legend. I have a book about Imagineering, but that doesn't mean I'm an Imagineer! ;)

2. I'm really in the mood for some hot and cold chills. Tragicaly, there are no hot chills, but where in this place can I find some cold ones?

The goosebumps on your arms.

3. Egads! There's something not quite average about the helmet of that suit of armor that greets you with a squeaky shift of his weight as you first come across the endless hallway. Just what is so odd about his helmet?

It's out of date!

4. In the endless hallway is an umbrella stand. I'm looking for my hat and think I may have left it here. Please tell me how many men's hats are on the rack and while your at it, how many women's. For a bit of bonus, tell me how many umbrellas there are and what color each is!

One is black with a parrot head - that talks, I've heard.

5. Nasty as it seems, something just isn't right about the grandfather's clock! I certainly don't mean the chime of 13... everyone knows about that! Do tell (if you can) what is odd about the hands of this clock

Not as bad as your avatar, I'm sure!

That was fun. :)

Although it is never actually stated, taken from the belief that the "ghost" with the moving eyes is another picture of our beloved host, and the conutless stories that have been written and retold hundreds of hundreds of times it is assummed, not actually, assummed, that he is or was a Sailor.

2. I'm really in the mood for some hot and cold chills. Tragicaly, there are no hot chills, but where in this place can I find some cold ones?
As you pass by the suit of armor or near the coffin for that matter, you should feel a cold chill.

3. Egads! There's something not quite average about the helmet of that suit of armor that greets you with a squeaky shift of his weight as you first come across the endless hallway. Just what is so odd about his helmet?
zoinks! it looks like Gonzo got stuff inside! a nose is protruding from it.

4. In the endless hallway is an umbrella stand. I'm looking for my hat and think I may have left it here. Please tell me how many men's hats are on the rack and while your at it, how many women's. For a bit of bonus, tell me how many umbrellas there are and what color each is!
This one i don't know.

well, the clock is,as you would say is possed by the Devil. that is what is wrong about the hands, they are.

Oohh, delightfully dreadful answer. Tragically, it's incorrect, sorry. (Ok, I'm really not sorry... but it did sound nice, didn't it?) Pay attention to the question. This is not based on a silly painting in the hall of portraits. This in refrence to nearly every book in our goulishly spooky library.

Very nice answer.

zoinks! it looks like Gonzo got stuff inside! a nose is protruding from it.

Well, you just about got this one right. It's a beak... not a nose. I'll give you credit for it though.

This one i don't know.

Did you ever think that you would *HAHAHAHAHA!*

well, the clock is,as you would say is possed by the Devil. that is what is wrong about the hands, they are. [/B]

Very good, the hands are those of demons.

This mortal (Or based on his name, ghost... have you been living in the mansion?) is quite beefed up in his knowledge of our ghostly retreat. Please, don't stop trying to answer these... this is more fun then a barral of Banshis.

Do you foolish mortals want me to set a poltergeist on you? Pay attention to the solid facts found in the library, you don't have those types of books for a bit of light reading, trust me!

the only other answer for the library would be ghost. my previous answer was going on the basis of very very very long and repetitive readings online and the ONLY job description i've found so far for him. as i stated abive, the only ONLY ONLY other job is ghost. and quite interesting, it's a half job, in a sense, can YOU tell me why it is, if it's basis is in the library, of course. also, if you would note, that i did say ASSUMMED and BELIEVED not accurate, i was, again, going on what i have read.

and yes i am well versed in this subject, not completely versed but well versed. it's been a while since my last visit to the mansion, but i will be back soon. it's in my trilogy of subjects: Haunted Mansion-Ghostbusters-Back To The Future.

Alright, the answer shall be given to you. Based on nearly every book on the library's shelves (Those that are real at least, a majority of them are mere paintings ;) ) we can assume that Master Gracy is in the field of law. Almost every book on the shelves deals with law in some way. Please, refrain from causing a disturbance with attitude. We spirits are dreadfully sensitive to a bad disposition. If my palor displeases you, I must appologize. After a gruesome death, and living in what is nearly the most depressing manor this side of Boot Hill, one does not generally put out a auroa of good humor.

interesting. i have read every single website and nothing reafers to him as a lawyer or judge or DA in anyway, shape or form to my recolection that is. the most i have seen is sailor. you still haven't answered my question mortal...why is he only a part-time lawyer?

 the questions is why can the ghosy host, when he was mortal only perform half his law making/breaking/following/whatever duties?

He was too busy having his affair with Madame Leota, the little tramp... but only one of us ghosts would know that, so I presume that's not what you were thinking of?

These questions are enough to wake the dead! (Or at least this thread...) Do any more of you foolish mortals wish to try your fleshly hand at these? Come on now... take a...stab... at them. If for no other reason, at least do it to...kill... some time. But don't try to hard, I'd hate to lose any of you prematurely!

Yes... it is quite disturbing. Poor Leota got what was coming to her when he whipped out the book and showed her the laws on marital loyalty. But that, of course, is another story altogether...

We are still trying to figure out how they got those blasted camera contraptions in the manor and snapped those pictures without disturbing us with the bright lights. We spirits are terribly sensitive to them. Why do you roll your eyes? You look almost like a corpse I once knew named Alexander...
