Isn't the tarped area the faux "front door" of the fascade? I remember there being a door and a lot of windows... If they're re-doing the window panes and frames, that could explain the heavey tarping.

No... The tarped area is where the observatory is. The faux front door is to the left of the area in the photo.

I didn't think the conservatory was a stretch room either, but you got me thinking.

I just overlaid the floorplan to an aerial photo and the attached pic is what I got.

It's hard to tell, but the one stretch room does line up with what appears to be the conservatory.

yes, that is the lobby or foyer. Look again! It's weird but it is the foyer. That's the red dot that is the closest to the bottom of your pic when overlapped.

I have blue prints somewhere that shows it but just can't seem to find the disc.

A quick question about the HM update. I noticed on the main site it said some of the changes were: "A new load belt with new paint/lighting treatments will be installed to make loading easier, along with a new load safety spiel."

Was this a problem before or is it just trying to make it safer for the future? In all the times riding HM, I don't ever remember there being an safety issue before or any difficulty loading. Thanks.

It's all part of a continuous improvement project. A few moths ago they were going around various attractions asking what speils they could automate in order to help them out and also what safety speils were the most important and such. HM was somewhat lacking a firm safety speil.
