Haunted Mansion Rehab! NO!!!

Hey everyone,

I am SO disappointed right now! I just read on the news page that Haunted Mansion is going to be CLOSED the week we're at Disney for our honeymoon (we're leaving a Week from Tuesday!)

That is such a bummer, with Haunted Mansion closed, and some huge construction crane on the castle, I'm really bummed

Anyone know of other attactions that will be under rehab or have a HUGE CRANE ABOVE THEM the week of Sept 10 - Sept 16th?

Malstrom in Epcot will still be down as well.... yeah I am going to not get to ride it either...but its not a major ride for me....so I will just ride it next time....

I'm going right in the middle of that, so I'm really mad right now. It's as if fate has turned against me. I haven't been in over 17 years. I don't remember too much, so it's almost like I've never been. I've been to Disneyland a lot and my favorite ride of all time IS the Haunted Mansion. I'm quite upset about that. I'm just worried that there will be a lot more rides closed during that time, too. I'm hoping that's the extent of ride closures during my trip.

That stinks! I have been working up the kids about this attraction for 6 months! I pray that it will reopen on time as we will be going to MK on the 20th and 21st. I really want to see it on the 21st.

I am also bummed. I will be there right in the middle of it Sept 13-19,

Just like the first and only time I was in disnyland
Space Mountain, SPlash Water Falls, and Pirates of The Carribean where all down for rehab.

hopefully no other rides will be down in september.

I've been working on my son for this ride too! I was afraid it may be a little to scary for him, so I have been emphasizing that it's all pretend. We have been talking about it everyday. All for nothing, will not be open during our trip.

Haunted Mansion Closure

The news I have stated that the Haunted Mansion at WDW will be closed from September 3, 2002 until September 20, 2002. They are changing out the motors in both streching rooms from hydraulic to electric and some other minor work. I just changed my reservation yesterday so I will now arrive on the 21st.
