What in the world are you talking about?

It was a mild attempt to connect the behavior that I witnessed while at DL of the locals linking arms and singing/swaying back and forth loudly to the songs at the Tiki Room. Many did the same thing waiting in the queue at the Haunted Mansion overlay. That's what I'm talking about.

For the record, I don't care about that... if that is what they want to do, fine, who am I to judge them, however, I can judge the show based on my personal opinion and I think that the overlay sucks. Others may like it, but, it surely isn't worth the downtime at WDW for something that to me (and others) cheapens the original content of the show.

The only reason wdw can have jingle cruise is it takes about 2-5 days unlike the 2-3 weeks HMM does

Jesus, NMBC overlay really takes 2-3 weeks? I thought it was a several day deal cause they've been doing it for so long.

If they are going to do anything to the mansion at Christmas then I rather they put up a few creepy Christmas decorations around the mansion, similar to how you decorate the inside of your home at Christmas eg Christmas tree in the ball room scene, stockings hung from fireplaces, stuff like that and it shouldn't pull focus either, should be subtle. The bonus of this is that it could be put up over night. Nice and simple.

That idea is a really good compromise, and it would actually be unique to the WDW Haunted Mansion as well since it's the normal mansion and ghosts but during Christmas vs an entire overhaul with a NMBC overlay. Adding decorations would be a simple overnight thing, too, so not really any downtime.

(Honestly I'd probably rather this at Disneyland as well since I'm there for the Haunted Mansion and not NMBC)
