I like the spiders. They are slightly creepy, keeping the atmosphere light (after all it is Disney) without being grotesque (which seems to meet the unfortunate current definition of scary) .

I never did like them. They don't seem to fit into the attraction's 'world' I'd like to see something replace them, but I'm not sure what. Too bad CMs can't get paid for their ideas (I'm serious, we have to sign a contract)

true, but jason Surrell started a long carreer at WDI from pitching an Idea for a holiday show, then another show, then another, and now he's an Imagineer. Besides, wouldn't knowing your mansion is better off thanks to you be pay enough?
