Kids are still fascinated by the centuries-old Pepper's Ghost effects in Haunted Mansion, so if they are making changes like the new hitchhiking ghosts to please children, that is very misguided.
I agree. With the exception of her cool phrases ("I do! And I did!") She is not creepy in the least. I also thought the ambiguity of the old bride was better. With Constance, why is she a ghost if she is the one that murdered all of her husbands? They added story where there didn't need to be any and it worked better without it.

completely agree with you half the ride doesn't have a concrete story and you know what it doesn't need to, if they wanted one they would have made the ride that way! I also agree her one liners are great but I still feel the silence of that room coupled with the beating heart was much more terrifying.

I too am not fond of Constance...

I just don't really get her, she isn't that scary and I don't feel her projections are that great nor does she compliment the rest of the ride!

They are trying to build a theme and story where none need be build, I suspect.

Does the hitchiking ghost tweet? Does it respond of facebook?

If it doesn't, it's "old fashioned"...and therefore should be replaced.

No, definitely not.
I like it the way it is. I don't like the Holiday overlay, it's just wrong.
I would vote for slowing down the "doom buggies" a little if possible. I don't think it would affect the effects and the timing either. Just make it 10-20 percent slower. There's just too much going on to take it all in.
